Okay, so the man is an average football player by NFL standards and probably gets too much attention, but this past week was interesting. I'm not an NFL fan, mostly due to the fact that they play primarily on Sunday and steal glory from God, but I think the Tebow phenomenon is interesting.
Tim Tebow was the center of a small controversy this past week after it became known that he was scheduled to speak at First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
The pastor there, Robert Jeffress, has spoken out about evils of ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity in the past and that made many in the media pressure Tebow into backing out of the engagement. Tebow cancelled his participation in the event.
But what no one mentioned was that Mr. Jeffress is an anti-Catholic and has called the Catholic Church "Satanic".
Is Tebow okay this? My guess is that he is no friend of Catholicism, as his father's life's work is "converting" The Philippines to Christianity although it is a profoundly Catholic country already.
Who do Traditional Catholic children have as sports heroes now? Do trad kids like sports as much as the rest of the country's youth?
