  • Have you ever experienced thunder snow? Or thunder ice? It's very peculiar weather. Looking out the window right now the sky is spitting out heavy sleet, 50mph winds and tons of lightning and thunder. It's exhilarating!

Has anyone else experienced some bizzare weather lately?
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

    Thanks!
It's blizzarding as we speak. But it has settled down a bit, and the blizzard is almost done. I'm really enjoying the day, being trapped in the house. I'm snowed in, so leaving the house is out of the question.

It was so weird. Yesterday at 3:00 it was 60 degrees. Then bam! 2 inches of ice with snow on top of it.

    Kansas.

I've heard of thunder snow, but have never personally experienced it.

I haven't experienced bizzare weather lately, but have had my fair share of it.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

That sounds like a typical week in Buffalo, between November and June.

During the Blizzard of 1977 we had hurricane force winds for three straight days and nights.  Snowdrifts ran to 40 feet high on my parent's farm, south of Buffalo. And there were massive thunder and lightning the first 24 hours.

Worth googling "Blizzard of 77 Buffalo NY" for a look at the extensive impact.

  • 9000 ft. above sea level sees plenty of thunder snow. There was it just this past.
