Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

This couldn't possibly have anything to do with the relatively high number of "thumbs down" ratings you get, could it?

Well, you cared enough to comment on it.  Just sayin'.

  • I think it would be helpful if you could see who did the thumbing.  I might weed out the cowards who do it out of pettiness.

For instance, the guy that just thumbed me down is a coward and so will be the next person who thumbs this down.

  • I find the thump up / down simply entertaining, I like it that it is anonymous and I think that it should be done objectively to the post itself, not the poster. When it is not done so, it becomes childish.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • Whenever I was climbing out of the saddle on a tough hill, a truck rode by in the opposite direction while the occupants gave me a thumbs up. It was pretty cool.

Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

When I held a large sign of an aborted baby in front of an abortion clinic and got either a thumbs up or a thumbs down I thought it was real cool, because I knew I was doing God's will and that whatever I suffered would be most efficacious.  It is cool to get a thumbs down for the right reason.  That is one reason why I am currently fighting the Feenyite error.  Our persecutors or thumb downers are our best friends when it comes to knocking a block of purgatory off for us.

So those who get thumbed down by petty fools, cowards and the ignorant, make sure you get thumbed down for the right reason and it will be beneficial to you.

Ah-hah!  I was wondering where all those thumbs down came from while I was basking in the rain, then setting up my tent!  People don't like my cartoon?  Guess not!  Oh well!  So long as they don't down-thumb something serious!
