Thoughts on "The Forth Secret of Fatima"?

  • At Church yesterday they were giving out copies of this book. The Fourth Secret of Fatima, by Antonio Socci, published ny Loteto Publications. Has anyone read it? I started reading it. So far it seems that Socci used to be a skeptic who believed in the official Fatima narrative and thought the traditionalists who believed that the Consecration had not been done were nuts. He went out to oppose the "Fatimists" in a book but upon examining the evidence, he came to the conclusion that the Fatimists were right. Is it a good book? For some reason the thing that jumped out at me the most was that he talked about the twentieth century as the century of satan (though I do not think he used those words) and the one "tragedy" that he mentioned was "The Shoah". From memory I believe he said something like, of all the tragedies of the twentieth century warned about, beginning with "the Shoah" . . ..

So does anyone have any thoughts on this book?
    R.I.P.
Please pray for the repose of my soul.

  • I never did understand why the need for such voluminous books on the secrets of Fatima, seems like a pocket pamphlet would be plenty.

I thought there were only thee secrets. How many secrets actually are there?
"But Peter and the apostles answering, said: We ought to obey God, rather than men." - Acts 5:29

The Highest Principle in the Church: "We are first of all under obedience to God, and only then under obedience to man" - Fr. Hesse

There are only three secrets. When people use the term "Fourth Secret" they are using the terms as Socci is using it in his book. Meaning that the 3rd Secret released in the year 2000 was incomplete as the Vatican did not release the words of Our Lady, which starts after the 2nd Secret "in Portugal the dogma of the faith will be preserved, etc.", thus it is the missing words represented by the "etc." is what Socci and other refer to the "Fourth Secret". In reality it is still part of the 3rd Secret.

  • It isn’t just the h0Ɩ0h0αxers who fake photos.

The official (faked) photos from Voz da Fátima magazine, May 13, 1967, including close-up of altered hands

“… We thank a reader for this creepy close-up of Paul VI's hand which is from the cut and paste photo of a non-event. Even [though] the fake Sister Lucy was at Fatima on May 13, 1967, people were allowed to see very little of her during this event because, well, it wasn’t actually ‘her.’ We have shown in the past how this picture with Paul VI has the fake Sister Lucy cut and pasted in — over a television camera. With this close up of the hands of Paul VI, we can see that his ring finger and his middle finger are both squared and ridiculously narrow at their base. If you look at his thumb on his left hand, you can see a black inserted background which separates the thumb from what should the white part of the habit of the cut and pasted ‘Sister Lucy.’ …”
