    Not really, he's just acting like a real Catholic bishop and doing what he's supposed to do.
    Now, if he really had guts ,he'd tell his priests to deny Communion to anyone publicly and vocally against Church Doctrine that they are aware of in their congregation.

    • Oh yes he does to have guts--and the Lavender Mafia is going to give him an old-fashioned dry martyrdom.  

    Of course he is supposed to be doing the right thing, without fanfare.  But the warlocks in charge of the US seminaries weed out anyone who is anti sodomite or anti women's ordination.  So, this man deserves mercy for speaking up.  He is up against a hideous monster.
