Apparently, the bad guys like to prepare us psychologically for what lies ahead.

This video is fascinating.

WHY would they have scenes of USA rioting and martial law in a music video...just by coincidence? It's not like the lyrics are about martial law. And this isn't death metal or other chaotic music. It's what I would call "alternative". They could play this on a top 40 radio station.

The only thing objectionable in the video is the lead singer (the star of the video) is standing in front of his TV set in his underwear for about 10 or 15 seconds. Just skip the first 38 seconds of the video if you're a lady, I guess.

The fans of Linkin Park who commented on the video haven't the faintest clue what it's depicting:

Some of them thought it was about the "Chicago fire" -- after one of them suggested it, of course. They haven't a clue that it's about Martial Law!

During the video you can hear the people chanting "we want freedom!"

yea, the song doesnt match the vid, but i still think it was a cool vid. u kno, with the M16's and Molotov Cocktails. pretty cool, good song too.

I think that the interesting thing is that they make it seem like the martial law and citizen violence is almost mundane - he's walking along like it is completely a normal occurence and you also see people just standing around warming their hands next to fires or just loitering - if we ever did end up with martial law I would think the whole populace would be freaking out, unless the increase in criminal activity was so gradual that martial law came to be a looked for measure and molotov cocktails exploding on the street a routine occurence.

I watched the "director's cut" of the video --

Even more interesting.

A few things were added --

A shot of his other wall, with some kind of schematics on it.
A shot of his backpack falling to the ground
A shot of some security cameras showing a large explosion

So apparently the protagonist of the video wanted to get in on the action?
