I meant one can't function properly without the other two.
I am not trying to hammer your every response, CS, but faith is still 'fully-functioning' faith (same for hope), even after a man (sadly)
loses supernatural charity through sin. If this were not the case, he would never truly repent, nor
hope for forgiveness and a restoration to the life of charity.
It is true, however, that God desires a man to possess all three, operating harmoniously to His own glory and the man's sanctification and salvation.
