Today on radio I realised why churchmen have kept their silence and said little or nothing. In a debate on the yes/no referendum it was pointed out by the host that EVEN THE CHURCH HAS RECOGNISED THAT MARRIAGE IS FIRSTLY ABOUT THE LOVE BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE. Children have been promoted to SECOND place in the order of Catholic marriage. Then I recalled, yes, Vatican II did redefine the purpose of marriage, a redefinition that gives ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs and lesbians an argument to claim their right to be 'married.'
I hadn't thought about it that way until I read this. This is genius in a devilish way. Redefine the ends of marriage so that PROCREATION is no longer the main end, and so now you can of course get sodomites to "marry" since they can't procreate.
