Title: The United States is seldom as diverse
Post by: Matthew on March 17, 2013, 06:23:33 PM
as it is during the Fall and Spring months.

Right now, my hometown is not even 32 degrees, and they're expecting ice pellets.

But here in Texas it's maxing out at 86 degrees, and it's only going to go down to 61 tonight.

That's a pretty wide gulf!  You can travel between the two places, by plane, in about 2 1/4 hours.

In the Summer and Winter the two are closer in temperature. 80 degrees vs. 93, for example. In fact, last Summer there was a heatwave in the Midwest and it was *hotter* than it was here in Texas!

telling me! it was cold here today on the oregon coast.

i do think the weather is wacky... it has been on regular news how the axis of the earth has changed (due to earthquakes)

all I know is that this last December it NEVER got dark at 5pm my work day is over then and it was very noticable..  so the spanse of weather differences is more obivious.  ( o.k. did i go off topic from you!?! sorry ... just noticed it was really cold here today :confused1:

It got up to about 78 degrees today. That's the warmest it's been here in two months.

I pity you Texans.

A winter without snow is a very sad thing.

Does it snow perennially anywhere in Texas?
