It's a mistake to think you can predict what day a chastisement will happen. All
you're doing is setting yourself up. Besides, December 21st this year is only a
topic of speculation because of creative imaginations using the Mayan Calendar,
which has nothing to do with the Aztec Calendar. Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared
in Mexico City, which was Aztec, not Mayan. So often you see these prognostications
on the "Mayan Calendar," and they show images of the Aztec stone carving. It's like
saying the Bill of Rights is part of the U.S. Constitution, and then show a picture
of the wooden, square rigged ship with the white gun windows. The Bill of Rights
wasn't part of a Naval vessel.
Take a trip to anywhere in Latin America outside of Mexico, and ask people about
the Virgin of Guadalupe. They will tell you in no uncertain terms that "She is
Mexico." Wherever you are outside Mexico, the locals have their own Virgin Mary
devotion, based on apparitions that occurred in that area, and there are many such
areas and many such devotions. Even in countries near Mexico, like Guatemala,
they have generally no regard for the Virgin of Guadalupe, because they have
their own Virgin Mary, and Guadalupe is a "foreigner." Very curious phenomenon.
