  • I've seen that powerpoint presentation before! It's very interesting in showing how Guadalupe and Fatima connect in relation to the heavens.

  • I found this from 1952.  It is related to Our Lady of Guadalupe and Our Lady of Fatima.  I think it shows us how none of Our Lady's Apparitions can be viewed as a singular event.  Our Lord has a plan that he is showing us, if we just open our eyes to see.

An excerpt from the book The World's First Love, by Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.

    Chapter:  Mary and the Moslems

"The Koran, which is the Bible of the Moslems, has many passages concerning the Blessed Virgin.  First of all, the Koran believes in her Immaculate Conception, and also in her Virgin Birth....The Koran also has verses on the Annunciation, Visitation, and Nativity.  Angels are pictured as accompanying the Blessed Mother and saying, 'Oh Mary, God has chosen you and purified you, and elected you above all the women on earth.'  In the 19th Chapter of the Koran, there are 41 verses on Jesus and Mary.  There is such a strong defense of the virginity of Mary here that the Koran in the fourth book, attributes the condemnation of the Jєωs to their monstrous calumny against the Virgin Mary.

Mary, then, is for the Moslems the true Sayyida, of Lady.  The only possible serious rival to her in their creed would be Fatima, the daughter of Mohammed himself.  But after the death of Fatima, Mohammed wrote:  Thou shalt be the most blessed of women in Paradise, after Mary.  In a variant of the text Fatima is made to say: I surpass all the women, except Mary.

This brings us to our second point; namely why the Blessed Mother, in this 20th Century should have revealed herself in the significant little village of Fatima, so that to all future generations she would be known as 'Our Lady of Fatima.'  Since nothing ever happens out of Heaven except with a finesse of all details, I believe that the Blessed Virgin chose to be known as Our Lady of Fatima as pledge and a sign of hope to the Moslem people, and as an assurance that they, who show her so much respect, will one day accept her Divine Son too.

Evidence to support these views is found in the historical fact that the Moslems occupied Portugal for centuries.  At the time when they were finally driven out, the last Moslem chief had a beautiful daughter by the name of Fatima.  A Catholic boy fell in love with her, and for him she not only stayed behind when the Moslems left, but even embraced the Faith.  The young husband was so much in love with her that he changed the name of the town in which he lived to Fatima.  Thus the very place where Our Lady appeared in 1917 bears a historical connection to Fatima, the daughter of Mohammed."

I am often really amazed and awed at the magnificent plan Our Lord has laid out.  For me, it is a clear reminded of Our Lord's Kingship.  Everything is connected and perfectly laid out.

I don't know if any of this means that the Minor Chastisement is set to begin on December 21st but I think something HUGE is going to happen.  However, on a note,  this was posted yesterday regarding the Visions and Prophecies of Marie Julie Jahenny of La Fraudais.

    Quote
"The three days of darkness "... will be on a THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. Days of the Most Holy Sacrament, of the Cross and Our Lady. . . ." three days less one night."

This December the 20th, 21st, and 22nd fall on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in the Calendar.  :scratchchin:

  • It's a mistake to think you can predict what day a chastisement will happen. All
you're doing is setting yourself up. Besides, December 21st this year is only a
topic of speculation because of creative imaginations using the Mayan Calendar,
which has nothing to do with the Aztec Calendar. Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared
in Mexico City, which was Aztec, not Mayan. So often you see these prognostications
on the "Mayan Calendar," and they show images of the Aztec stone carving. It's like
saying the Bill of Rights is part of the U.S. Constitution, and then show a picture
of the wooden, square rigged ship with the white gun windows. The Bill of Rights
wasn't part of a Naval vessel.

Take a trip to anywhere in Latin America outside of Mexico, and ask people about
the Virgin of Guadalupe. They will tell you in no uncertain terms that "She is
Mexico." Wherever you are outside Mexico, the locals have their own Virgin Mary
devotion, based on apparitions that occurred in that area, and there are many such
areas and many such devotions. Even in countries near Mexico, like Guatemala,
they have generally no regard for the Virgin of Guadalupe, because they have
their own Virgin Mary, and Guadalupe is a "foreigner." Very curious phenomenon.
