The SSPX Harvest is Large in Eastern Europe
While the neo-conservative Polish Bishops lead the country slowly into the abyss, the apostolate of the SSPX blooms in the land.
(kreuz.net) The apostlate of the Society of St. Pius X is growing "surprisingly fast" even for the conditions of the Society.
This was written by the District Superior for East Europe, Fr. Karl Stehlin in his Christmas letter.
The Society can only devote twelve priests in eastern Europe. Actually, the present pastoral work would require thirty priests -- so says Father Stehlin.
In Warsaw the Fathers will be shortly leading a third old Mass on Sunday.
Every week there are about four hundred Catholics who appear for Mass -- doubled the number as there were two years ago.

The SSPX harvest, or the Catholic Church harvest of souls? God did not die and leave the care of the Church to the SSPX. All true traditional Catholic priests and bishops, and there are others besides those affiliated with the SSPX, constitute the remnant church.
This kind of thinking is what disgusts me about the SSPX. They think they are the "saviors "of the church. They are now being tested and winnowed, and some will be found wanting in their faith.
Not so sure about that:
1) There are, by definition, none in the Novus Ordo/Conciliar Church who can be said to have retained the Faith, and teach/practice it publicly;
2) Schismatics also do not form part of the Catholic CHurch, so that rules out all sedevacantists;
3) None of the indult groups accept the full corpus of traditional Catholic doctrine.
So what is left?
The SSPX (and their affiliates), and a few non-schismatic independant priests.
Therefore, I do not think it much of an overstatement to assert that God's providence has indeed left the safeguarding of the Catholic Faith to the SSPX.
Feel free to flame away; I will not respond.
