This was an excellent sermon.
I don't think there was any recording, unfortunately.
Of what I can remember, Fr. said that "We are the salt of the earth." And
lest we be cast out and trodden underfoot by the Freemasons, we ought
to be promoting the reign of Christ the King in our world.
This time of year, between October and the beginning of Advent, is the
time when it should be foremost in our minds.
The Social Kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ is our responsibility. And
any Catholic who does not live in such a way so as to promote it is
failing in his daily duty as a Catholic.
People think all too often, and especially Traditional Catholics, that we
can 'get along' with error and heresy, and we can tolerate social evils
because, after all, the world has too many problems. We can't solve
them all. Well, true, we can't, but with God's help we can do anything.
The Roman Empire lasted for many centuries, and the thing that it had
going for it was the rise of the Church, as the Holy Roman Empire. But
the United States of America falls way short of that ideal, since from
its inception it did not acknowledge the rights of God. They are nowhere
in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights, but rather only the 'rights of man'
are to be found there. As such, this country is facing a fate that may
render its duration something like one-tenth that of the Roman Empire.
I was rather pleased to see how closely this sermon squares with the
lecture given by the great Fr. Francois Chazal in Boston KY this past
week, video linked
here, even though when I mentioned it to my priest
after Mass, he had not heard of it.
I only had a moment to speak with him, as he was in a hurry to leave
to another appointment, but I was actually surprised to find that he
was not aware of Fr. Chazal's lecture, or of the fact that the new
seminary at Our Lady of Mount Carmel chapel in KY is now operational.
When I tried to be brief by saying that the great Fr. Chazal said that
in his work in the Philippines and in India, the entire governmental
edifice is entirely infested with Freemasons, but they are not all that
hostile to his work as a Catholic Priest there, he retorted against this,
saying that Freemasons among the Bishops of the Church and in the
Vatican are absolutely devil worshipers and do not brook any restraint
in their nefarious activities to destroy God's Church. I knew I had to
get to the point, so I did. I said that Freemasons offered Fr. Chazal
money to help him with his missions, but he could not accept it, for
then he would be held to be appreciative of this and would have to
reciprocate with their requests for his help in the future. The great
Fr. Chazal is not about to be owned by Freemasons.
We are very fortunate to have such priests in the Resistance, those who
not only can see that the work of the Masons is subtle, and is not
always openly hateful of the Church, but desires to give a deceptive
appearance, one of 'humanitarian' and 'freedom-loving', in imitation of
the CHARITY of God's Church, but without any RELIGIOUS DOCTRINE.
I would like to develop this principle in light of the writings of the
great Fr. Denis Fahey, C.S.Sp.
Maybe John Grace or soulguard or stgobnait are familiar with their
countryman's work, since he is IRISH.
