I am not yet buying it
I think a lot of posters here read a little of this and a little of that, not checking out the integrity of the authors... and they believe stuff based on that kind of flimsy stuff..
Again, I have to read up on Churchill but God knows whom to trust as far as authors
Of course you don't. It conflicts with the narrative that you thought you knew.
Irving's Churchill book is absolutely full of verifiable footnotes that take up an appendix in the back of about 100 pages. As far as his reputation, you should know better than resorting to that. Irving was considered the finest WWII historian in existence and a regular on the bestseller list throughout the 1970's until he wrote Hitler's War that cast the h0Ɩ0cαųst narrative and the causation of the war in a very different light. There were 5 main publishing houses, ALL controlled by Jєωs, that dropped him like a bad habit because he was threatening their narrative. They actually threatened book stores to pull all his books, and the ones that refused were vandalized and some owners attacked. It forced Irving to self publish so he could get his work to the public. The man has done jail time for writing books and giving conferences. Think about that.
I have read hundreds of books on WWII. Irving's integrity is to my mind, solid. He has lost everything for his work. He was very wealthy prior to Hitler's War, later books and the Lipstadt trial. They took it all and ruined him, but he keeps on fighting. I respect him greatly for fighting for what he believes. He does a better job of that than just about any of these so called Catholic clerics running around in the world today, and I include "traditional" ones in that category.
Watch this and you'll see what they have done to him.
