  • Any division within the Church is because of the Vatican II heretics and schismatics. Below are examples of those public outspoken heretics and schismatics while Rome remains silent.

Fr Kimutai from Kenya accused some church leaders of being out of touch with the reality that same-sex relationships were flourishing and called on them to “step out of their ivory tower”.

  • A Catholic priest in Dublin has receiving a standing ovation from members of his church after revealing he is gαy during mass.

Father Martin Dolan, who has served the inner-city Church of St Nicholas of Myra for the past 15 years, made the unusual step of coming out in support of gαy marriage and added: I’m gαy myself”.

  • During an interview Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press" focusing on the "Francis effect" in the Church, host David Gregory asked the cardinal about the decision of Michael Sam, a 24-year-old senior at the University of Missouri and defensive end, to announce that he is a ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ.

“Good for him,” Cardinal Dolan replied. “I would have no sense of judgment on him. God bless ya.”

  • “I’m as radiant as the sun, so thanks be to God for the honor and the joy,” said Cardinal Dolan on Tuesday morning, as he led 250,000 marchers down Fifth Avenue for New York St Patrick's Day parade– including a delegation from “Out @ NBC Universal,” a group of gαy activists who work for NBC.

  • Standún, a parish priest from Carna, in western Ireland, has expressed controversial opinions — at least, controversial for a member of the clergy. In 2013 he praised Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny for passing legislation that legalized abortion under certain circuмstances, announcing that public representatives should reflect the views of their constituents, not their church, according to the Irish Times.

Standún made much the same argument in a column supporting the same-sex marriage referendum published earlier this month — only this time, he directed his plea toward Church leaders.

This "Catholic " priest supports abortion and same sex marriage.

  • A Roman Catholic priest in Maryland, one of the states that will be deciding whether to approve of same-sex marriage on Nov. 6, has told his congregation that he will continue to support such unions – right after reading out loud a letter from his Archbishop urging Catholics to vote against gαy marriage.

"Could we not then say that their devotion to and support of each other . . . could be recognized by the church as a valid sacrament of God's unrelenting faithfulness to us just as much as the union of an elderly straight couple? Neither will procreate children, but both can be sacraments of God's faithfulness in the living out of their commitment to each other," the Rev. Richard T. Lawrence told his congregation at Baltimore's St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Sunday.

He reflected that his personal position on the issue stands directly against the official stance of the Roman Catholic Church – which he had just reminded his congregation of by reading Archbishop William Lori's letter to the faithful urging them to support traditional marriage when they go to the ballot boxes on Nov. 6.

"Each one of us – as Catholics and faithful citizens – must show up on election day and do our part by voting against Question 6," Lory's letter begins, referring to the voter referendum seeking to add same-sex couples to the definition of marriage. Maryland is one of four states, including Maine, Washington and Minnesota, that will decide on the issue next week.

While some polls show that gαy marriage supporters have as much as a 10 percentage point lead in Maryland, the vote can still go either way, and both proponents and those opposed to changing the traditional definition of marriage have been reminding the public why it is important to vote on this question. While same-sex marriage is currently legal in seven U.S. territories, any state that votes in favor of it come Election Day will be the first to legalize the practice via voter referendum.

Archbishop Lori noted that voters face "the momentous choice of whether to maintain marriage as the union of one man and one woman in Maryland, or to irrevocably dismantle our state's legal recognition of the most basic unit of our society – the family unit of mother, father and child."

He further notes that couples already have domestic partnership rights, and that redefining marriage would have negative consequences for the established family unit.

"We cannot underestimate the long-term consequences that redefining marriage would have on children, on the family and on the religious freedoms of individuals and institutions who continue to hold fast to our deeply held beliefs about marriage," the letter stated.

As the National Catholic Reporter shared, Lawrence was respectful in his views and did not outright tell his congregation to reject the Archbishop's message – instead he urged them to pray and think about the argument.

The priest, who has led his church for 39 years, said, however, that he believes change might not be such a bad thing, and that including same-sex couples in the definition of marriage can still be defended by the moral standards of the Roman Catholic faith.

"It seems to me, therefore, that even if we do not believe that gαy marriage ever could or should be allowed in the church, we could live with a provision that allows civil marriage of gαy and lesbian couples," Lawrence said. "Personally, however, I will go farther than that."

He continued: "I personally believe that this is a possible line of future development in theology and perhaps eventually even in church teaching. And if this is even a possibility, could we not judge that civil marriage for gαy and lesbian couples ought to be allowed by the state at this time."

Lawrence said that he does not have plans to officiate same-sex marriage ceremonies, even if Question 6 is approved, but said that he can be a personal witness and offer his blessing to same-sex couples.

"But could not civil law be allowed to progress where church law cannot go, at least not yet? Personally I believe that it can and that it should. So there you have it: The official teaching of the church and my personal reflections," the priest concluded.

This is a Catholic Priest telling his congregation to vote for same sex marriage.

  • called up the Catholic Health Association (CHA) yesterday. I wanted to nail down the exact compensation figures for some of its executives, including the salary and benefits of Sister Obamacare, also known as Daughter of Charity nun Carol Keehan, who last week helped Barack Obama engineer his latest con job -- the bogus conscience "compromise" designed to hoodwink Catholics into voting for his reelection.

As it has been widely reported, Obama conferred with Sister Keehan before his announcement last Friday. Then, lo and behold, she praised his revision as an inspiring resolution to the thorny issue of "religious freedom" soon after the sham event concluded.

So let's get down to brass tacks. How much is Sister Keehan worth for such political interventions? The checkered Catholic hospitals Keehan represents as chief executive officer of the Catholic Health Association stand to receive gobs and gobs of cash from the federal government if Obamacare holds up past 2012. Consequently, the members of the association are more than happy to pony up huge salaries to executives skilled at manipulating the Catholic electorate for Obama.

Keehan is worth $962,467 to them in total salary and benefits, according to the Schedule J (Form 990) 2010 docuмent sent to me by CHA. Theoretically, this is paid to the nun's order, though CHA adds an intriguing caveat to its compensation figures:

The descriptions below provide an overview of the composition of the five compensation figure columns (B, C, D, E and F). Note that for Sisters Carol Keehan and Patricia Talone and for Father Tom Nairn, all amounts in column B, except for certain fringe benefits included in column (B)(iii), were paid to their respective orders.

In other words, not all the money goes to their religious orders. What are these "certain fringe benefits" to which the caveat refers? I didn't get a comprehensible answer from CHA. But its spokesman assured me that these "certain fringe benefits" weren't large. Maybe the Wall Street Journal should drill down into the numbers.

According to the form, base compensation for "Daughters of Charity for Sr. Keehan" was $682,982. "Bonus and incentive compensation" was $136,000. "Other reportable compensation" -- which is the (B)(iii) to which the caveat refers -- was $131,888. Nontaxable benefits were $11,597. All this adds up to salary and benefits totaling $962,467.

Presumably, her 2011 salary and benefits will exceed $1 million, if the past is any measure. (Her 2009 salary and benefits fell in the $850,000 range.)

It turns out that left-wing "Catholic Social Justice" is a good career move. Sister Talone, to which the caveat refers above, pulls down for the Sisters of Mercy "$416,623" in total compensation, while Fr. Nairn's order, the Franciscan Friars, snatched $194,947.

Who knew that lobbying for the corporal works of mercy paid so well? Of course, the dirty little secret of secularized "non-profit" Catholic hospitals is that they rake in enormous profits. Hence, some of its executives garner salaries/benefits north of $9 million. Obamacare will release another avalanche of federal government cash with which to feather their nests.

"For where your treasure is, your heart will be also," said Jesus Christ. A pedestrian reduction of the Son of God's saying is: Follow the money.

But say this at least for Sister Obamacare: she displays gumption that the waffling U.S. bishops lack. She still wears the pants in the clerical family.

She spun Obama's "compromise" effortlessly, while the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) was caught flatfooted. In his tiresomely inane and people-pleasing way, USCCB president Cardinal-designate Timothy Dolan initially praised Obama's con job as a first "step in the right direction." This gave the White House nearly a day of good publicity with which to confuse Catholics.

"Encouraging" words from the USCCB, declared CNN's Wolf Blitzer last Friday. Other networks and newspapers soon followed with rosy reports that blared, "USCCB: Obama compromise a 'step in the right direction.'"

Later that Friday, the USCCB issued a new statement pronouncing Obama's revision "unacceptable." But the damage was already done.

Keehan must chuckle at the cluelessness and doctrinal timidity of the bishops. The USCCB still can't decide if "Catholic" pols whipping the Church in America on issues like abortion and gαy marriage should be denied Communion. This is too tough a call for the USCCB, so no uniform policy exists. (In a typical comment from the USCCB crowd, Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington, D.C. has said that he won't withhold Communion from Nancy Peℓσѕι, as that "style" of confrontation makes him uncomfortable.)

While the bishops dither, Keehan ruthlessly organizes the Little Sisters of Leftism for Obama's reelection. Her task is a little trickier this year but she could still pull it off.

In 2008, many bishops, priests, and nuns voted for Obama and they probably will again. At the end of the day, they are Democrats first and Catholics second. Besides, they agree with Obama on issues like birth control. They, too, view the Church's teachings as passé.

Indeed, Saul Alinsky couldn't have organized Obama's Fifth Column within the Church any better than Sister Keehan and company.

"Obama is not a pro-abortion president," Giovanni Maria Vian, editor of L'Osservatore Romano, said a while back, while former papal household theologian Cardinal Georges Cottier congratulated Obama for his "humble realism."

Catholic Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne, who got Keehan's memo and is back on the team (not that he was ever off it) after Obama's "compromise," enjoys seeing traditional Catholics in America get their wires crossed with ostensible allies at the USCCB and Vatican. The "Vatican clearly views Obama through a broader prism," said Dionne after the remarks of Vian and Cottier.

Santa Fe Archbishop Michael Sheehan told the openly heretical National Catholic Reporter that he supported Notre Dame's decision to confer an honorary degree upon Barack Obama and could not understand the "big scene" of protests about it. Asked by NCR if other bishops agreed with him, he replied, "Of course, the majority."

He declared that "we don't want to isolate ourselves from the rest of America by our strong views on abortion and the other things."

The rise of the Tea Party frankly scares these bishops. Nervous headlines they didn't dare run in their diocesan newspapers after the election of Barack Obama suddenly appeared after the House Dems got clocked in November of 2010. Catholic San Francisco ran a headline after the election that read: "Social Justice Agenda in Jeopardy in US."

America magazine, the Jesuit journal of dissent, also found the Tea Party-inspired results troubling. Steve Schneck, director of the Institute for Policy Research & Catholic Studies at the Catholic University of America, wrote in a piece on its website that the Church's "years of efforts in America to support public policies that reflect its moral vision were dealt a blow Tuesday evening."

No doubt Obama will reassemble his "Catholic advisory committee" and continue to generate donations from Catholic colleges and universities. Last time around, the faculty at Jesuit Georgetown led all college faculties, religious and non-religious, in donations to Obama.

Several Jesuit schools joined Keehan in praising Obama for his HHS "compromise," which was awfully big of them since they never needed it in the first place, given that they already hand out condoms and contraceptives to their students.

Obama's 2008 Catholic advisory committee included such national co-chairs as Sr. Jamie Phelps, OP, professor of theology at Xavier University, and Sr. Catherine Pinkerton with the Congregation of St. Joseph. Surely, his 2012 one will be chaired by an even worthier champion -- Sister Keehan, the Daughter of Charity worth close to a million bucks a year.

  • ROME, May 19, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- Pope Francis has appointed radically liberal, pro-ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ Dominican Father Timothy Radcliffe as a consultor for the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace.

The Holy Father made the appointment on Saturday, according to Vatican Radio.

Father Radcliffe, an Englishman, author and speaker, was Master of the Dominican order from 1992 to 2001, and is an outspoken proponent of ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity.

"We must accompany [gαy people] as they discern what this means, letting our images be stretched open,” he said in a 2006 religious education lecture in Los Angeles. “This means watching 'Brokeback Mountain,' reading gαy novels, living with our gαy friends and listening with them as they listen to the Lord."

In 2005, as the Vatican deliberated the admission of men with ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ tendencies to study for the priesthood in the wake of the Church sex abuse scandal, Father Radcliffe said that ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity should not bar men from the priesthood, and rather, those who oppose it should be banned.

As a contributor to the 2013 Anglican Pilling Report on human sɛҳuąƖ ethics Father Radcliffe said of ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity:

How does all of this bear on the question of gαy sɛҳuąƖity? We cannot begin with the question of whether it is permitted or forbidden! We must ask what it means, and how far it is Eucharistic. Certainly it can be generous, vulnerable, tender, mutual and non-violent. So in many ways, I would think that it can be expressive of Christ’s self-gift. We can also see how it can be expressive of mutual fidelity, a covenantal relationship in which two people bind themselves to each other for ever.
Father Radcliffe often celebrated Mass for the U.K. dissident group Soho Masses Pastoral Council (now renamed the LGBT Catholics Westminster Pastoral Council).

The priest is also a supporter of the proposal of to allow communion for divorced and remarried Catholics.

He currently works as director of the Las Casas Institute of Blackfriars at Oxford University, a social justice center.

Social justice is the focus of the Pontifical Council of Justice and Peace, established in 1967 by Pope Paul VI in response to the Vatican II proposal for establishment of a body of the universal Church that would “stimulate the Catholic Community to foster progress in needy regions and social justice on the international scene.”

  • (RNS) A Catholic priest in New Jersey who says he was dismissed from his campus ministry job over a Facebook post against anti-gαy bullying and racism has come out as gαy.

The Rev. Warren Hall told Outsports, a magazine for gαy athletes, that while he remained committed to his vocation as a priest and to his vow of celibacy, he was not going to hide his sɛҳuąƖ orientation.

“I have to be myself,” Hall said. “I can’t worry what other people think.”

Hall, who worked at Seton Hall University, announced on social media earlier this month that he had been fired from his job by Archbishop John Myers of Newark because he had posted a picture on Facebook last fall supporting the “NOH8” campaign.

[Catholic priest says he was fired from university job for Facebook post supporting gαy rights]

“NOH8” stands for “no hate” and it grew out of the battle over banning gαy marriage in California.

A spokesman for the Newark archdiocese, which is responsible for assigning chaplains to Seton Hall, has disputed the priest’s explanation of his removal.

Hall said that he posted an image of himself with the “NOH8” logo on his cheek amid the growing national debate over race and violence.

In an email to Seton Hall colleagues announcing his dismissal, the priest said he intended the post as a message against racism and bullying, not in support of same-sex marriage.

Hall said another priest saw the image, which was posted to Hall’s personal Facebook page, and alerted university and archdiocesan officials around Christmas last year. Hall said he was called in to explain the post, first by the university and then by the archdiocese.

He agreed to delete the post and his explanation of its intent seemed to put the matter to rest, he said. Then, on May 11, as he was giving an exam to his sports and spirituality class, Hall was told to call Myers.

“None of us want bullying,” he said Myers told him, “but you have a further agenda here, and I can’t have you at Seton Hall because of that.”

Archdiocesan spokesman James Goodness on Wednesday (May 27)  reiterated his comments from an earlier statement that Hall was not dismissed because of his advocacy of tolerance for gαys and lesbians.

“The church doesn’t fire priests for tolerance; it condemns those who are intolerant,” Goodness said.

He added that “many factors … go into evaluating whether a particular assignment is a good fit for a priest” and said that the “NOH8” episode did prompt the archdiocese to reassess the level of “accountability” that the university chaplain has to the archdiocese. So he said Myers decided he needed someone else in that role.

Hall declined to elaborate on his Outsports interview, which was published Tuesday.

The priest said he was unsure where Myers would assign him but that he had requested a six-month sabbatical. He expressed his gratitude to Myers for assigning him to Seton Hall several years ago after he had lost his job as head of a private Catholic high school following an arrest for drunken driving.

Hall said that in the past year a few people had learned of his sɛҳuąƖ orientation but now he wanted to be completely open.

“The best way to live is to live honestly. Honesty with oneself is the most important thing, but you have to be honest with other people,” he said. “I’m not afraid of those questions anymore.”

  • A Catholic priest in training came out as gαy on Friday, saying his sɛҳuąƖity shouldn’t define him before God and calling for the Church to be more welcoming to outsiders.
Damian Torres-Botello, who, like Pope Francis, is a member of the Jesuit order, published an essay in the Jesuit Post this morning entitled “This I Believe: Created in God’s Image.” The article, which was reportedly approved by Torres-Botello’s superiors, describes his initial struggles with discerning a call to ministry, noting that his friends and family expressed concerns he could face obstacles as a person of color and “would be forced into the closet after seventeen years of accepting myself as gαy.”
But Torres-Botello said he doesn’t feel his sɛҳuąƖity should keep him from God.
