Trinity is still angry over the fraternal correction that gladius made to her concerning sticking your head in the sand when horrible abuses are happening around you. She beleives that the Saints went away to the woods and prayed for these abuses to end and did not ACT upon their knowledge which is patently false.

  • The reason I posted is because she has become obssessed as women often will when they are corrected and become angry. If you read all her posts now, they are in response to gladius's original fraternal correction that he made to her. They all have the same theme now. It is painful to watch and reminds me of Raoul's lunacy at the end.

  • Oh, contraire, Sedetrad.  This has always been my position.  I'm sorry you find me an embarressment, but you do prove that only God reads hearts, only He can judge.

  • Your response doesn't make any sense. It proves my point.

Which at least explains why you are trying to explain me and failing.  Would someone please explain that to Sedetrad.

  • Sede, do you not agree that if Trinity is in error, it is better to err on the side of thinking well of someone, instead of thinking the worse.

I don't understand why you or others can't understand her point of view.

Everyone else here states their opinion, but for some reason her opinion bothers some here.  I wonder why!
    Please pray for my soul.

  • It was I who corrected Eamon.  I have begged for mercy here, while some want justice.  In the end we will all beg for mercy, but that's beside the point of this thread.  I have never said, nor will I say, that bad behavior shouldn't be addressed; I have questioned the methods to be used.

I once had an NO friend who said never diss a priest.  They are the very sons of Mary and if you have a problem with one, take it to Mary.  She will deal with it.  And you will be innocent of any wrong doing.

Thank you, Myrna, for your pointed questions.  Thank you, Sedetrad, for bringing this up.  It remains a mystery to me why people keep falling for the same old accusations.

Does this friend think the sɛҳuąƖ scandals in the Novus are proceeding well, according to the most basic ideas of justice or mercy?  Do you think it is wrong that people have come forth to demand justice?  Silence seems to have been somewhat less than effective where the protection of the innocent is concerned.  How does the present, ugly, world-wide situation fit in with your friend's advice and perspective?

  • If a parent, for example, discovers that Fr. So-and-so -- or any other person -- is raping his child, do you and/or your friend believe the proper course is to "take it to Mary", or is there some other course that is more sensible, responsible, etc?

FWIW, the "just pray about it" attitude, the attitude of your friend, enabled the annihilation of the innocence of MANY.  This is a demonstrable fact, ugly as it may be.  This is true within the history of the CMRI, as is well known at this point.  There are many who still suffer from the ill effects.

FWIW, it is possible to think BOTH that she is in error AND that it is better to think well of someone.

As for her point of view, I do see it.  I just think it is a distortion of the healthy, balanced point of view.

FWIW, there are several possibilities as to why this is so.  Additionally, people are affected by how we say what we say, not just the content.  Both are factors in the reception of one's message.

    Yes, right about here...

Oh, Eamon, what have you done? Now CMRI is judged by Cekada, not it's own merits.

As I recall, I had nothing to do with that thread up to that stage.  In fact, I had not been online much in the preceding weeks.  Once the comment was shown to be utter nonsense, that line of argumentation ceased.

I would like to know if they were listening to a certain song by the Beatles when it all went down...

AND what your query has to do with the price of medical marijuana in LA.
