I can't wait to see it! I have 'Galileo was Wrong' and it's great, but I understand 'The Principle' is easier to understand for those who have no science background.

Gyroscopes are really fascinating gadgets. They seem to break laws of physics.

There was a British scientist who went public some years ago with his demonstration of how a very heavy wheel device (difficult to pick up by hand) suddenly becomes light and easy to lift even overhead and twirl around, the only difference being that the internal wheel is OFF when the device is heavy, then when the internal wheel is set to spinning at about 60 rotations per second (3600 rpm) the whole device seems to defy gravity.

He was blacklisted by the scientific community after his demonstrations.

Perhaps he was touching on something that is at play with the large scale universe, and that would explain why the powers that be didn't want further investigation going on.

I saw a video recently that asserts the biggest hang-up they're having with long distance space travel (if you ignore the radiation and/or shielding problem) is that it would require the travelers to grow food in transit. So far, all the experiments to get plants to grow in a weightless environment have utterly failed, and they're thinking that there must be something about gravity that enables plants to grow, such that without it, they don't grow. Therefore, it would be necessary to have an artificial gravity embedded in the spaceship if there could be any plants growing. They said that a good portion of the space station experiments have been attempts to find edible plants that grow in space.

The point about Albert E. is that the public perception of him was that he believed in the Copernican Principle, but the record shows otherwise.

He allowed the public perception to persist for his own popularity, but he was no dunce, and by studying the evidence and using his keen scientific reasoning he knew that there is no proof of that Principle, and he stated that whether the earth moves or not is a matter of perception, such that mathematically either case could be presumed and all the math works out either way.

You ought to see the Movie and see for yourself.

I don't care much about Einstein either, but only because I know my limits! The Church teaching against heliocentrism interests me more, as it should, but of course it's great to see science catching up to doctrine on this too, as well as on 'Evolution'.

I'm just glad they finally stopped aspiring to be the next great Box Office hit like The Passion and realized that DVD is the only way to go.
