Every time we get closer to the release date, they push it back a month.  I'm beginning to wonder whether this film even exists.

When was it supposed to come out.

The film is set to open in Chicago, on October 24.

Destined to become one of the most controversial films of our time, The Principle brings before the public eye surprising results from recent large-scale surveys of our universe – surveys which disclose unexpected evidence of a preferred direction in the cosmos, aligned with our supposedly insignificant Earth.

The Principle features narration by Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek Voyager, Orange Is The New Black and Ryan’s Hope), visual animations by BUF Compagnie Paris (Life of Pi, Thor, The Matrix: Revolutions, Van Helsing, Harry Potter), and commentary from prominent scientists including George Ellis, Michio Kaku, Julian Barbour, Lawrence Krauss, and Max Tegmark.

Tracing the development of cosmology from its inception (Stonehenge, the Great Pyramid at Giza), through the great revolution of Copernicus, to the astonishing new discoveries of Earth-oriented alignments in the largest structures of our observable universe, The Principle leads us face-to-face with the question, and the challenge – are we significant within the structure of the Universe, and, if so, why and finally, what does this mean for the future of mankind?

The film was written and produced by Rick DeLano through his Stellar Motion Pictures, LLC and was directed by Katheryne Ktee Thomas of In Ohm Entertainment. Executive Producer is Robert Sungenis. The media marketing campaign is being spearheaded by Bob Angelotti of Angelcom Media Group, Inc

It will be shown in Chicago, and, based on its reception there, it will be shown in other theaters after that.

You mean we have to rely on dolts from Chicago liking the film to have a chance to see it elsewhere?

Maybe we'll get to get it on DVD.

I'm pretty sure I recall that even before the September release date there had been one for July.

...but...you probably can't substantiate that with any links, screenshots, docuмentation, or anything resembling proof. It's probably your emotions (in this case, frustration, anticipation, etc.) Remember, we guys have emotions too.

There's an old CI thread from earlier this year which announced the original release date. Why not find it?

No, the issue is with the repeated pushbacks.  And the October 24th date is JUST ONE THEATER; I don't consider that a "release date" by any stretch.  When will it actually go beyond the one theater in Chicago?  Next summer?  Ever?  They should just go direct to DVD with it.

But it's not true they they have been release-date hopping. To say otherwise is simply not accurate or consonant with reality.

Perhaps they are using some tricks to avoid actual moving of a date (e.g., not giving a release date at all for quite a while). I'll grant you that.

Go to their website (http://www.theprinciplemovie.com/).  At the end of the official trailer, which they have failed to update since whenever they first made it, it still says "Coming Spring 2014".  No, not an official release date per se I guess, but perhaps you can see where the perception is coming from.  Then I recall something about Summer (June / July).  Then in late May they announced the September 19 date.  Now it's October 24, and that's only in one theater.  It's just starting feel like dangling a carrot in front of the horse.  Perhaps they just can't find a decent distributor.  Perhaps they were slowed down when Kaku raised a stink (pun intended) ... along with Mulgrew.  At some point, then, you just have to call it a day and go directly to DVD.

I've just downloaded it and will listen to it, but, perhaps, he will discuss the film and when and where it will be released.
