  • Ahh, with all these "race" threads, I just couldn't help it.

So, for all you paranoid "anti-racists" I really don't care if the next pope is an African or Asian or Martian or even a Klingon.

As long as he's not a  PC, liberal, ʝʊdɛօ-fearing, modernist who doesn't care that I like my neighbors to be a little like myself.  :smoke-pot:

Anyway, the oddsmakers from "catholic" Ireland are in that the next pontiff will be from the Dark Continent, which will probably definitely mean we won't have to listen to no more of those damn commie "catholics" infesting the Vatican from Europe.

And maybe all the whine-asses about race will pipe down a little for a change.

The next pope is very likely to be African according to Paddy Power, Ireland’s leading bookmaker, who has come out with a list of “papabile,” those considered papal material.

The list comes at a time of increased health problems for Pope Benedict, who, at 85, has begun using a cane and is appearing more frail.

Favorite is Cardinal Francis Arinze of Nigeria, who is 15/8 (bet eight to win fifteen), while in second place is Cardinal Peter Turkson of Ghana at 9/4.

That’s two top Africans in the top two spots according to the bookmaker’s odds.

In third place in the odds is Archbishop Angelo Scola of Venice at 7/1 while in fourth is Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiago of Honduras at 10/1 while Cardinal Albert Malcolm Ranjith at 33.1 rounds out the top five.

Rinze was considered papabile in 2005 when Benedict was elected, and he now has Benedict’s old job within the Vatican.

Against him is his age, he is almost 80 and may be too old when Benedict passes
Cardinal Turkson is only 64, born to a Methodist mother and Catholic father, and has said that "if God would wish to see a black man also as pope, thanks be to God.” The Catholic Church chronicler Rocco Palmo called Turkson the lone Scripture scholar in the Pope's "Senate" and believes that his status as a potential "papabile" has been elevated due to his appointment as spokesman for Second Synod for Africa in 2009.

Three recent popes have come from the Venice archdiocese which makes Cardinal Scola an automatic favorite as the top Italian. Church experts say the best outsider is Cardinal Marc Ouellet from Canada who handled the recent Eucharistic Conference in Dublin.

  • I like what what I hear from this Cardinal Arinze when I see him on occasion.

Problem is, I can barely understand him when he talks with that thick Nigerian accent. But he doesn't seem to be a lib from what I gather from his interviews.

likel,y with whites declining to reproduce at all, wven with other whites and most going Prot or agnostic, and with the birth rate up in Hispanic lands, finally, with birth and conversions up in Africa, good chance next 1-2 Popes cold be Hispanic, black or a combo........

I hear the Catholics in Africa, more then Europe/USA, tend to be more conservative on some issues, like abortion and queers.....much like the ANglican black contingent......

If said person elected, I see some here going Sede for that reason alone, or Prot (as some here are in love with Protestanized history lessons.....ie, as long as white European, wil lgo with them and against the faith....Elizabeth I hence, because the economy might have went fine and a lot of gadget improvements, was I guess, good for some.....never mind the unstable mind nor blood lust for papists and all....keep the gadgets coming, the dollar moving.....)

They didn't after Obama was elected.

Isn't Cardinal Burke in some sort of an authority position that quite often leads to the Papacy?

  • The social degradation of the white Christian male and his displacement is one of the chief obsessions of "those people" (even Cicero spoke softly around them)

What is truly maddening and beyond sad is that it is "Christians" who are some of the worst enforcers of this degradation.

There is something truly diabolical in the manner in which "those people" manipulate the minds of "Christians"

There is something truly nefarious about how this process works.  For example, people are literally afraid to say they don't a black African should be Pope (barring extraordinary circuмstances) - so-called conservatives get angry when you say this is a form of affirmative action that makes an utter mockery of the Papacy.

No one ever says a negative word about having Italian Popes for 400 years.  Suddenly, we need a black pope.  And many preening people - "Catholics" who have made surrender to racial displacement one of the core aspects of their "religion" - will use all the cultural marxist venom against their fellow Catholics who object to it.

Truly, many white males want someone lower in the pecking order and they know they will not be held to task for disparaging and insulting other white males.  It is such revolting behavior.

It's not God, but guilt-ridden white liberals who wish to see a black man as pope to counter two millennia of Catholic "racism".

I dont wish for any particular race to the Papal Throne, I trust in and leave up to God.......

also, we get the man we deserve-strong and traditional, or weak and liberal, one a reward, one a punishment........

it is the game they play here in USA

We get women thrown into the mix (Ferraro/Palin/Bachman), blacks (Cain, Obama), a few token Catholics (Ryan, some extent, Kennedys) and now, we have to have the Mormon.......

a lot of lets make everyone happy in engineering, which is what it is....

in the 80's, saw a lot of purposely adding the same numeric formula to friends (always the token 1-2 blacks in the crowd, done still in Tv/print ads). Also, thats when the huge push for inter-racial dating came about, not much prior to the 80's, save for Looks WHose coming........

also, by early 90's, then the queer pushing in TV, ads,etc....

People are people and will mix with who they want to-or not...fine nad good, but we do not need manipulation and engineering to push that goal........

the couple I noted some time ago at my Church, she white and blond, he Puerto Rican, but racially, mainly black (or high yella as older southerners would say). They met, dated and married in the Church.......goign strong 30+ yrs later, model Catholic family in action, word.......

they did not need to be told who to see, engineered like a lab rat to an end.......they are anomaly, as most like them do not work out due to differneces, mainly of cutlure (another manipulation, as we purposely make sure we divide/conquer races adn keep that pot stewing).

so, not surprising if that is oging oin behind the scenes, instead of electing the right man to the Throne and working hand-hand w/the HG.....

  • I think Cardinal Ranjith would be the best choice at this point, for Bishop Williamson had pointed out how he questioned things. He was assigned back to his native Sri Lanka though before he got too far into looking at the problems in the Church.

  • I had the great fortune of getting to hear Cardinal Arinze say mass and give the homily. The last thing that comes to mind are PC and modernist.

  • So "Peter the Roman" will be from Africa?

    Arinze even?

He who enters the conclave Pope, leaves it a Cardinal.

And  haven't we already had an African  Pope? What  of Victor  I? Whom we have to thank for the Mass in Latin (before him it was celebrated in Greek in Rome!).

Some argue he was 'from' Africa,  but not 'African'.

Then certainly  Gelasius I  qualifies, of Berber origin  (like my confirmation saint, Augustine of Hippo whose feast day was yesterday!)

the term african is a debated term.....some think African always means-black.....some african=those born or raised or living on the continent...

ie-you are in Egypt and you live there afew yrs, havea few kids.they are in a sense "Africans", though the term is less clear.....as you are not...Some Egyptians look more like me then Nelson Mandela......

in a larger sense, the term "american" is generally used in relation to a citizen of the USA, though have heard some Hispanics from and livcing still, in the C/S Americas say they too are "americans" as they are in the Americas....

that all said and done, there are indications in prophecies that likely, though not certina, the last Pope is not "black".....maybe Hispanic, but, likely European......some of the "flees to Germany" stuff, maybe the only area to flee to, convient then, or he is European and familiar, which leans toward B16, though again, not likely him......

might be, then again, for some here at CI, he is too "negor" and "black" and heck, just not a white European guy.. :smirk:

though most comforatable with my own fellow honkeys, I accepted whatever shepard the Lord will give us to run HIS Church......he did not ever specify we would be in a bed of WHITE roses.....

some of non-whites are much more clear on moral issues and not going with white-inspired V2.....
