While there are a good number of honest reasons why a person or persons within the same household would use more than one CathInfo account, and while we do generously extend the benefit of the doubt when no abuses are apparent, there are points of reasonableness at which we draw the line.

The following ten accounts are all related and while those of them which have been used to post have been less than controversial, they are all actively used to vote for posts. Even this I'd be inclined to let slide if not clearly done with the aim of inflating/deflating a particular post or member to the tune of 3 or 4 votes per post in some cases or using multiple of these accounts to ignore a single member.

As I'm certainly not convinced these 10 people are all distinct individuals, she/he/they are banned for having multiple accounts.

Its pretty much explained all here with the original post given by M.D., but I have my own 'perspective' on this that wouldn't be read or interpreted as a spirit of charity; so, I think it best I keep my 'inklings'?, I think that is what they are called, to myself.

There were a total of 850 votes from these 10 accounts -- they've been deleted. Some votes were used to downvote a couple of users -- those users have had their Rep points restored to them.

The reason I said I was creeped out is because I've been conversing with a person on that list almost daily.

I also see that my ratings are different today. That's probably all I should say.

This is very common behavior among avid forumers.

Traditional Catholic forums about the SSPX are interesting in that they are small, yet they provide a lot of news and information that many concerned trads consult. For that reason they have a totally disproportionate influence on traditionalism compared to similar forums that discuss different topics.

There can be strong motivations to try to influence a board like this. And to promote alternative forums, like the one the poster was recommending.

I really do wonder about some people and what motives they could possibly have coming here.
