A person on that list was claiming to be associated with the owners of a website by that name.

Dawn, would you care to vouch for him/her/them? There's a pretty good chance you don't have enough information, but since there's a possibility that you do, I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

ADD: Nevermind, Matthew just came in and checked his email.

Yes, I can vouch for one of the people, and only one ( I have no idea who anyone else is on that list)who has multiple accounts here.  I just spoke with them and found out what was going on and there is indeed a logical and reasonable explanation for why they did that.  It is a case of having good intentions but using the wrong methods.  Meaning they understand that using multiple accounts was in hind site not a good thing to do but the reason was understandable.

The owner of that website was the chief harridan of another forum who was eventually banned for her reprehensible behavior.  It may be "a wonderful Traditional Catholic prayer site", but the owner has intermittently displayed rather unsettling behavior on other Traditional Catholic websites.

I never posted on AQ, but I watched Dawn Marie's ban from AQ, and her behavior was anything but "unsettling". If I remember correctly, she was banned for directing some much-deserved words towards the forum's owner.

You really shouldn't smear DM and her site on this thread. That isn't Catholic behavior, nor is it fair to Matthew to put him and his forum in the middle of it.

Thank you SS, I appreciate it very much.

Does this mean that all the thumbs down from these banned members
will be removed from the active members?
