    • The standard question:

    Are science and religion mutually opposed? Two seperate "boxes" inimical to each other and never meant to mix?

    The brainwashed school child responds: Of course. Evolution is contrary to religion.

    The error:
    1. The equation of evolution with science as a given.

    This sets up a false dichotomy when the real question should be, are evolution and science mutually opposed?

    Please discuss tactics to bring up in this debate.
