I know, but they just listen and worship it rather than live it (in a sense). It's a totally different story if your living in the ghetto and you "identify" with it all.

If RAP is not dead, it is dying and I think Obomba has killed it. Here in LA where the weather is usually warm, the crap could be heard at almost every stoplight for the last 15 yrs.
I hardly hear it at all now.

Let's hope it is buried 4ever.

This is so true! After the defeat of the last Jacobite rebellion in 1745, many of the Scottish (and Irish) supporters of the defeated rightful Catholic Stuart king were shipped off to the plantations in America as "bonded servants" (i.e. slaves) (Could this be why many Black Americans have Scottish and Irish names?)

True, the name thing could be mixing of races, but often, slaves and freedmen in US took names of owners or Like Fredrick Douglas, others names.....
