Any Traditional Passionists?

  • Are there any traditional Passionists? My good traditional Catnholic friend, who is like an aunt to me is trying to get me to join the SSPX third order, but I do not know about it. I go to an SSPX Mass. Are there any traditionalist Passionist third orders? I once heard that there was a quasi-Passionist order started by lay people who wanted to follow the traditional spirituality of the Passionists and not the corrupted Novus Ordo version. They would attend the Latin Mass, meditate on the Passion on their own, and pray. They may or may not have priests or be approved by the local ordinaries? Does anyone know anything about this? I am interested. I believe Ann Barnhardt talked about this. I don't trust her, but I love her, and I suppose she spreads some truth with her strange ideas which I think are errors.
