The antiChrist IS right around the corner

    • (I didn't read that post, just the title... but had to say this in response to the title)

    As it says in the Word, "there are even now many anti-Christs in the world

    anyone who hates Jesus is antichrist
    anyone who ignores Jesus is antichrist
    anyone who calls himself Cahtolic and votes for liberals who think baby killing is no big deal is an antichrist

    and I could go on and on

    there are many so called catholics who voted for Hillary, who vote pro-death

    so don't give me this No antichrist stuff

    and the Church is such a temple for antichrists that ... I think the real Antichrist (meaning the one who rules the world or whatever) is "around the corner"

    in fact, he has always, always been with us

    his other name is Satan

    • Yes but the title THE Anti-Christ refers to one man who will come towards the end of time and will lead the world into apostasy, before dying and then the Jєωs will convert.

    It is only one man. All the rest are fore-runners of him.

    I don't see where it makes a hill o'beans difference
    there are many antichrists. The big one could not do anything w/o the help of the little ones, so called. And there is no such thing as a little one

    • Many catholics thoughout the centuries thought the anti-christ (i.e. the guy) was right around the corner.  I agree, the 'spirit of anti-christ' is alive and well in our age, but it was also very active in france during the french revolution.  There are plenty of indications that we are living in the 'end times', for sure, but there are certain absolute temporal events that must happen before the anti-christ appears.  According to scripture, the Church Fathers and private prophecy, I don't believe we're there...yet.

    • Cardinal Manning in his writings and of prophecies show many anti-christs, Martin Luther being one.  When we think of Anti-christ we usually thing of "end" times?  Cardinal Manning referred to these times as latter times.  Prophecy shows anti-christ with magic enough to have people follow him, a person.  Christ will see to it that He and His Mother will reign and that will be a time of peace and some say a 1,000 years, BUT we don't know.  What I am watching for is the end of the Eternal Sacrifice of the Mass in Chapter 12 of Daniel.  I do believe we are very close.

    You have no idea what you are talking about.  Who writes a response to a title to a post without reading it?  May I ask how old you are?  Seriously, I'd like to know, because the way you post makes you come across as a middle school/early high school student.

    It is really frightening when one does not perceive a strong sense of the REal Presence of Christ in the Churches... and even when one does, the "priest" or others who work at the Church forbid you BEING with Him  
    A big part of doing God's will is spending time with Jesus in His Real Presence. Priests and others who forbid or in effect deny you that... IMO get the lowest level of Hell

    • A really good booklet to read is called History of Antichrist written by Rev. P. Huchede.
    It was put out by TAN about 25 years ago, not sure if you can even buy it anymore.

    It's only 60 pages long but has a lot of really interesting information on the end of the world as prophesied by saints and biblical quotes.

    If you can find this book, buy it immediately because it is sure to disappear forever.

    Only one-third of the Jєωs will convert to the Catholic Faith.

    I tend to disagree w/ your predestination-sounding stuff. Anyone cn be saved. No one is chosen by God if you mean that others do not have an EQUAL chance at salvation. Anyone who wants God (Jesus) is "chosen" if he follows through on his/her desire and enters the Church, etc... God has chosen anyone who wants Him... ("not willing that any should perish)

    Knowing what "will" be is not equivalent to making it be.
    How can even one omniscient know a thing, like a choice made or deferred, that isn't?
