  • This title "Adventure of God" seems inappropriate, however it seems that God the Almighty has embarked into an adventure with His creature down bellow on earth. We all know that there is no "adventure" with God, since He knows the end as well as He knows the beginning, but let's consider what He did after Noah-and-follows had survived the deluge. He ordered an octogenarian named Abraham to leave his land (a very risky thing to do during that time), then He had a shepperd defy a giant with a sling shot, His people were taken captive by the powerful king Nebuchadnezzar, they returned from captivity led by a prophet, and then finally after all those adventures of Israel, He came down Himself as a man.

When He came on earth, the "adventures" kept on going. He had to be hidden in Egypt because a king wanted Him dead. He hid many years until appearing to the public-life, and then the real adventures began,  miracles, exorcisms, conflicts, large crowds to feed in deserted areas, etc, until His arrest, and condemnation to death... we all know all details, and truly the life of the Lord was no pick-nick.

I say that because we faithful in Christ Jesus have no longer the spirit of adventure of God. We have, and particularly us of the tradition become like bureaucrats. For example the Superior General Fr. Rostand, and he is a reflexion of us all, sounds like an MBA nowadays. He gives political-like briefings, admonishes about legalese, pulls a tape recorder out of the pocket of his cassock to show, in a protest, that he listen to the Sermons of Monseigneur Marcel Lefêbvre "everyday", which "Sermons" he defends for having been banned under pretext of "copyrights"... the spirit of adventure of Christ Jesus is gone. The salt has lost its savor, it is good to be troden underfoot.

I do not write those lines to pick-on Father Rostand whom I know to be a good man in his heart, for I remember a beautiful sermon that he pronounced some years ago about the fifteen decades of the Most Holy Rosary. I write this line because the spirit of adventure of Christ Jesus that Archbishop Lefêbvre had perfectly understood (it is vividly shown in his Sermons) is gone. Yes it is gone! even it starts to show its departure on this blog site. The authoritative voices of this blog site speak of intrigues, of theologies that require studies, of partisanisme, but few, very few speak of the love that God has for us, and few speak of conversion and expansion. Yes I understand! We are on the brink of disintegration, us the "integrists", and we are fighting a fight for survival, but don't we have faith that God can take us out of the present pickle in which we are, by simply showing him a little love?

I posted an appeal earlier to-day for a rally to be organized for the Burning Man. You can read it, it is here. I hoped to get a few responses, because the souls of about fifty to eighty thousand is about to be in danger of damnation. I hoped to have at least a generous soul to send a compassionate e-mail from a far away land, but no! I received a couple responses about other postings about an other subject, which is "how to detect an AGENT of disinformation". This said responses prove that this blog site is not dead! It responds, but it is dead in the spirit of love and charity! It has lost "God's spirit of adventure".

Our Lady of La Salette, pray for us.
