  • The time for charity has passed. You are a liar like your father, the Devil.

  • Actually, the authorative Pius XII did declare that we descended from 2 peopel, Adam and Eve.....

"But the all-merciful God "so loved the world as to give his only-begotten Son"; [9] and the Word of the Eternal Father with the same divine love assumed human nature from the race of Adam.....It was she, the second Eve, who, free from all sin, original or personal, and always most intimately united with her Son, offered Him on Golgotha to the Eternal Father for all the children of Adam," MC

Do we just follow blindly...some call it faith. But faith in what...the truth? I know much of which that is posted here will not fall favor to most but I hope it will help enlighten and guide you to a more conscious awakening.

Is there a Divine consciousness...yes, but what it is becomes the question.

The story of Adam & Eve is widely misunderstood by both the Christian community and Evolutionists. Many people actually think that the entire human race stemmed from just two individuals named Adam & Eve. Evolutionists claim that we all originated from a "soup," while Christians fail to recognize that there is far more information in the ORIGINAL bible then the translated versions.

Sorry -- the Church has already ruled that man descended from two parents (Adam and Eve) and that Original Sin was passed on by them to all their progeny.

More than one set of ancestors (rather than just 2) would militate against the dogma of Original Sin. That is heresy.

  • Uriel --

If you don't save your soul (and let me tell you: that's very likely at this point!), it will be your insatiable curiosity that damns you.

If you read anything and everything, it's going to cost you your faith -- and then your soul.

I hope the "fascination" you get from reading all that crap is worth it.

I'm telling you -- your latest post is heresy. Not just touching on matters of Faith (proxima fide), but outright heresy.

    Exactly!

Much of the OT is taken from ancient Sumar. Does this deny God his due...no.

Divine Council teaching does not say the OT came from Sumar, only that Sumerians like all other decesndants of Noah retained some knowledge of the past...hence the  Flood accounts all over the world...it does not say we had several first parents........all peoples, past and present, descend from Adam and Eve...

  • I added that disclaimer to his post -- it was either that, or delete the heresy.

  • Gotcha, thanks for warning!!

you know, when I was young, I bought into the Chariots of hte Gods crappola...as I got older, read the Fathers and the TLM Missal, etc.......I could see taht there is a lot more going on and that aliens,e tc are demons, taht the ancients had technology not from "ancients", but aided by the demons, who rejoiced in wrecking God's people and planet......a distortion of what likely happend........some say that this happended with Hitler, that he had "help" from some that after WWII simply disappeared........likely, demons.......the war of Heaven goes on, with humans as pawns to Satan, humans as infinately precious to God........

From the Life of Saint Alphonsus:

    Quote
He was of middle size, with a rather large head, and of a freshcomplexion. He had a full forehead, pleasing azure blue eyes,an aquiline nose, a small mouth and smiling lips. Hisbeard was thick and his hair black; he kept them short, and often cut them himself. He was short-sighted andmade use of glasses, but never in the pulpit or when he spoke to women. His voice was clear and sonorous;however spacious the church might be, and however longa mission might last, it never failed him, and it continuedthus until his last infirmities. He had an imposing mien; his manners were grave and gracious at the same time. His judgment was subtle arid penetrating; his memory prompt and tenacious; and his mind precise and methodical. He was of a passionate temper, but through virtue hebecame a model of sweetness. His whole life was one continual application ; but he was never occupied about indifferent things, nor even about matters which were more curious than useful.

It already has cost him his faith.
