So, I was tipped off that Eric the Ego was doing live podcasts featuring his own actual likeness... so I just had to investigate!
You know, when I first started digging into what this guy was actually saying, I thought he must have some incredible charisma about him that blinded people to what he was really about. I was only partly right! His, shall we say, "animated" facial expressions have suddenly cast him in a much different light to me. Sometimes it seems like he's channeling French Stewart, Rick Moranis or Bobcat Goldthwait without the vocal intonations. He went from wanna-be cult leader to a propeller head with a shaky self image.
He's a natural comedian, whether he knows it or not. Though I'm not worried about anyone really taking him seriously, I'm still concerned that people who have chosen to associate with him are embarrassing themselves in the process.
I've put together a GIF of some of his more entertaining expressions. Best if used with a side of cranberry sauce.
