  •   You beat me to it. I was just going to post this same thing. But the video that goes with the article is even better: the governor of Texas showing that in Texas, men still have guts, and governors still know how to lead!

I renounce any and all of my former views against what the Church through Pope Leo XIII said, "This, then, is the teaching of the Catholic Church ...no one of the several forms of government is in itself condemned, inasmuch as none of them contains anythi

  • Considering the lengths they went to in order to suppress secession last time around (1860s), and how much LARGER the monster is that NEEDS to suck the life from the states to stay alive itself, somehow I doubt the Fed Monster - "Fedzilla", I heard Ted Nugent say yesterday - will allow anything like this to come even close to being realized without SERIOUS action.

  • Don't mean to rain on your parade, but the Governor of TX is a bilderburger.

He went to the meeting a few years ago.

  • It is called "working both sides" of the "fracas" - or, the Hegelian Dialectic in a concrete situation.  The тαℓмυdists are THE Masters at such - just ask Benedict, a well-versed Hegelian.

  • Yeah, I know that Rick Perry was heavily involved in moving Texas in a very bad direction (Big Brother, building cσncєnтrαтισn cαмρs here, etc.)

He might just be telling the crowd what they want to hear.

NOTE: It did say Perry is about to enter "a challenging Re-election race" so he'd better tell those good-ol'-boys (independent, down-to-earth, sane, etc.) what they want to hear, or he's outta there.
