What is the purpose of a discussion thread for this? If it's to remember how value Tele was, then why is he banned? If it's for everyone to give their opinion about him, shouldn't he be around to defend himself? I don't see any good reason for this thread to be open for discussion.
The purpose is simple: to respect the good he contributed, and to inform everyone why he was banned. If you're curious as to why, I invite you to re-read the OP. I thought I was pretty thorough.
According to the way I was raised, it was considered ridiculous to "play games" such as to ignore the banning of such a long-standing member. Telesphorus deserves an explanation for his original banning, and all the various members of this and/or other fora have some well-justified questions about the whole thing.
I'm being true to my father's memory and my heritage when I practice "honesty is the best policy" and be open and transparent about things. It's the only way I can feel normal or comfortable. Maybe I open myself up or give away too much; oh well.
Believe me, I'm keeping an eye on this thread. This won't become a Tele bash-fest.
