• In which forum do we report these?

• Perhaps these posts can be moved into the correct forum.

I have had a problem whenever I am copying posts that have bolding, italicizing, and coloring added to the font mix. The bolding does not work with the colored font. Usually, the forum formatting here at CI will allow bolding but will not allow a colored bold font. Thus, I am forced to do away with either the bolding or the colored font.

When I was in college, the posting style did not allow for bolding, coloring and enlarged type. The standard was 14 point font, nothing more, nothing less.

Posting with bolding, coloring, and italicizing coupled with large type is often seen as shouting. This makes such a post difficult to read.

In addition, whenever I am posting a longer post, the forum will often time out on me, so I will receive a message to post again. Sometimes what I have attempted to post will be lost somewhere in the ethernet, but sometimes, it will post after a brief delay.
Lord have mercy.

• I wasn't able to quote a post imbedded within another post. The system will only allow me to quote the more recent of the two, even if the replier I'm quoting quoted someone else.

• There is another problem ... a minor one.

Sometimes I encounter a post with a lot of bolding or linked fonts, neither of which can be change to a normal font.

Instead, I am forced to retype the entire post to avoid the bolding or links.

I have not taken advanced computer courses, so any help would be appreciated.

I cannot attend college classes as I am seriously ill right now, but I would like to share any information I find on the Internet as I realize that time is of the essence in these mid-term elections and in these End Times.
Lord have mercy.

Perhaps this might help....

Here is a direct copy and paste from CE:

Objection 1. It would seem that there is not a Purgatory after this life. For it is said (Apocalypse 14:13): "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. From henceforth now, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors." Therefore after this life no cleansing labor awaits those who die in the Lord, nor those who do not die in the Lord, since they cannot be cleansed. Therefore there is no Purgatory after this life.

Here is the exact same quote posted first to a Word docuмent as plain text, then copied from that word docuмent and pasted here:

From henceforth now, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors." • If I want to get rid of the Rich Text formatting, I paste it into Notepad first and then copy-paste it from there into CathInfo.

The very first button in the toolbar of the rich text editor switches to plain text editing.

• I sometimes copy text and post. When previewed it can all come out in many different sizes, from tiny to HUGE.

Above the edit-field and below the smileys there are several buttons. Press the first one of them (the upper left one) to have the text appear as shown above in the CODE-box. Then change the numbers in the size-tags.

E.g.
Code: [Select]
size is three
size is two
size is one

size is three
size is two
size is one
