  No , Allen got it right. The post 1870 Club Infallible church has been stripped of the spiritual and has become a totally earthly and political animal. It has become a defacto dictatorship . Remember Jesus telling us that the people of the world were wiser than the sheep, and that we too should be as wise as serpents.

Matt 10;16 Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves.

  Christ built his church at the ground level (healing the individual) , not putting any human being as part of pyramid worship stucture. Today's Catholicism is is closer to Sun Myung Moon and the United Nations rather than Christ's Church.
