Catholics need to have some fortitude and use their own principles against them.

When I was teaching in a public High School, I told them that I was taking a certain Holy Day of Obligation off.  I told them that my religious beliefs prevent me from working that day.  Because I mentioned my religious beliefs, they were incredibly accommodating, telling me that I didn't even have to use a vacation day for it.  But most Catholics just trudge in to work on Holy Days without giving it a second thought.  They have caved.  We need to stand up for ourselves and use their own system against them.  We need to be as vocal and aggressive as the Jєωs are.
