I wish I could cite the source, but didn't our Lady say something to the effect that in these latter days, it would be heroic for one just to fulfill one's duty of state? Doesn't seem to me that by making a splash on a public forum is going to be the deciding factor for most souls... not to say that these Catholic forums don't have their place.
A saint (I do not know which one) made the statement that in the End Times, those who persevere in the Holy Faith will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. This echoes St. John the Apostle who encourages us to persevere in these End Times. In addition, the Beatitudes, mentioned in the Gospel of St. Matthew, also relate that those who are persecuted (then and in the End Times) will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. These Beatitudes were taught by Christ Himself on the Sermon on the Mount.
So, one must ask: Why did the Vatican II Church label Pope John Paul II as the Great?
He did so much to lead people away from the Holy Faith by kissing the Koran and by participating in the Assisi Inter-faith fiasco.
