  • Revelations 12:11 " And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony."

Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions ."

When I was an innocent 9 year old child, I saw Jesus in the most beautiful of whites, dressed as a shepherd on the wing of an airplane while it was boarding. I thought someone was trying to deceive me into becoming highly religious. Then I got lost for 35 years and began hearing, seeing, wrestling with the unseen and witnessing powers of the invisible spirit world. Evil spirits had come into my life on account of my sin. I've lost touch with reality (was deceived) and nearly died at the hands of these devils- both human and demon alike. I've witnessed that the humans know nothing and lose their memories, family and friends. They appear to thirst for all that only a most loving creator can give them. They are masters at the art of deception. Their worm (evil) shall not die. They would have been better off had they not been born nor created. I've discovered that it is the human and angelic condition that we are evil and wicked without God!

Father God reached out to my broken soul and I heard him say, "the battle against good and evil has been here since the beginning of time." The room filled with an ancient scent that God recreated from memory, to perfection, to give me knowledge that he was there in the beginning. The Father's voice sounds of greatness not of this world. He spoke using my own vocal cords and when I wondered why my lips were not moving, he moved them like babble (foolish or meaningless talk) - four years later I got possessed twice by a demon trying to sit on God's throne, speaking through me, moving my lips, masquerading as God like a babbling fool. His glory (deceit) was short lived!

I suffered at the hands of these devils for 7 years until I learned that they were real and hence, Jesus as well. This is how Jesus had found me to begin my vocation to be an undeserving adopted child of God. He left the flock to find that one lost sheep. He did the work 35 years in advance when I saw him on the wing of that airplane. I prayed to Jesus that he would not leave me here to be evil like these people. He put my mom behind me, who is in heaven, and recreated the scent (much like the Father) of her holding me in her bosom as a child (a most loving memory), to give me knowledge of her presence. He was telling me that I was forgiven, would not be forgotten, would be gathered to my people and that he would deliver me from this evil, our enemy, the devils.

Since then, my guardian angel has made herself known to me and I've had many visions and dreams, some arranged by God, Jesus and the powers of the higher angels, guiding me away from sin, in truth, toward salvation. Today, I thank the Holy Trinity for my sufferings and wisdom gained. Also, I'm looking forward to being with God in heaven and seeing my mom again. GOD BLESS YOU!!

  • Some of your thoughts are wonderful and very inspiring, but once you play the supernatural vision card, people are going to run.  First of all, in this day and age, REAL Holy visions are rare to the point of being non-existent.

Normally they would come upon people of uncommon holiness. If such a thing were to happen to me, I would be careful and very, very concerned with the truth of it.
I would test myself. I am not worthy.  The last thing I would do is make these kinds of statements on an internet forum.

It's not that I don't believe in the possibility. I just don't think it would happen to me, and I'm real concerned about you.

Sounds a bit gnostic for my tastes. Have you tried contacting a pentecostal rave?

  • I've never had a vision but I have heard a type of internal voice that isn't my voice.  It's only happened a few times in my life and the message only applied to me. The message was only like 5-6 words.  Usually God communicates to me through impressions (hard to explain this) or other people.  It does not happen often so don't want anyone to think I am a mystic.  I'm not.  I'm very ordinary and certainly unworthy.

A couple other times I believe I might have experienced a diabolic attack.  There were no words in those cases.

I bear witness to the Lords truth in the Holy Bible. This is the parable describing what Jesus had done for me in my life:

Luke 15:4-7 What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!' I say to you likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

  • The red highlights are gifts that I believe I acquired from the Holy Spirit:

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for one given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophesy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

  • St. John of the Cross and Fr. Adolph Tanqueray's classic, The Spiritual Life, are the two finest resources one may consult regarding self-perceived "visits from the Great Beyond".

Therein, one may learn that 99.9999999 out of 100 times, such  "experiences" are self-delusional.

And, yes, they can originate with the enemy.

The only way one may attach even merely natural, objective credibility to alleged "voices" or "visions" or "suggestions" is to have them vetted by a supremely well-trained, experienced and thoroughly orthodox priest or bishop.

One should never run about announcing them on one's own authority.

Many pious souls - AND WITH NO ILL INTENT WHATSOEVER - do manage to convince themselves, and unfortunately others, as well, that they are the recipients of "visits from the Great Beyond" when the reality is that it was just their own overactive, highly wishful imagination all along.

The corollary here is that God IS speaking to everyone in the here and now.

And that is through the lines of communication HE established in His Church - sacramentally, Scripturally, doctrinally.

  • Very wise Anthony Benedictine.

If these visits are real, you need a Holy Orthodox Priest to help you. Stop wasting our time and yours.

  • Anthony Benedict and Napoli: it happened to me years ago (extasis during a Holy Mass by what we know now is an accordist XSPX PRIEST). Thanks to Our Holy Mother I had at the time a Holy Resistant Priest saying to me: "It might come from the Devil" and then I started to search the matter. Better don't pay any attention to them and just keep doing our tiny little duties.

The verse you need to pay far more attention to is Luke 18:11. Then reread Anthony Benedict's sound and charitably voiced counsel—and this time take it to heart.

I don't see anyone persecuting you here, just trying to give you some charitable advice. I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but....

Anthony Benedict is right. Why go around speaking of this stuff? Have you taken this before a confessor and asked for his discernment? It's dangerous to go declaring this stuff to the public. It encourages people towards sensationalism, and the devil loves to run with that.

Sorry to sound harsh, but I came from a semi-charasmatic protestant background before converting and this stuff is all too familiar. It sews confusion in the hearts of well intentioned people, leads to spiritual pride and leaves people going off of emotions and grasping for "spiritual highs".

I'm not saying that God doesn't give supernatural graces. A look into the lives of the Saints would prove easily that He does. But please, seek discernment and practice some prudence. If these words are true, you'd be best to imitate Our Blessed Mother by quietly cherishing it in your heart.
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.
    ~James 1:27

  • I am skeptical when it comes to visionaries, so I don't believe you get real messages from heaven. It is nothing personal. Maybe if your visions were connected to miracles like in the case of Fatima, then I would be more likely to believe you. I think there are far more false visionaries than their are true ones, so it is good to be skeptical, lest you fall for a false visionary and in following a false prophet, lose the faith.

I'm not looking for followers. I'm just giving testimony and bearing witness to the truth.
