How reliable to you judge the current theology degrees offered by modern colleges, in particular of colleges under the leadership of the conciliar church.
I have been considering going into this area in a few years and only have available to me colleges which are either secular or under conciliar administration.

Don't do it. Don't even consider it. The only thing you can rely on is that you will be taught liberal and heretical theology.
Years ago, I knew a staunch NOer poster who got his Master of Divinity at a NO catholic college who called himself Rev1222 (after the Scripture verse "Revelations 12:22" - [not sure of the actual ch and vs]).
How Catholic was his education to have him call himself the protestant "Rev" when Catholics have always called the last book of the bible Apocalypse?
I know this is not a major big deal for Catholics to call the last book "Revelations", but in this day and age it should be - and for one who has a Master's degree from a "catholic" institution to call himself "Rev" shows what he learned is NO liberal theology.
Aside from the fact that the Church really started at V2 and that no matter what was taught or who taught it prior to V2 was all wiped away by V2. This is what he learned in his NO theology courses.
I could go on about how you will be taught twisted teachings designed for indoctrination into humanism and liberalism. You will learn gender neutrality, the importance of religious indifference, the necessity of accepting everything anti-Catholic and on and on ad nausem - that LAST thing they want to teach anyone is Catholic Theology.
If you understand what is going on in this world, you will believe this and you will not even consider taking any theology course from any secular or NO institution.
