If that's a host, it would be perhaps the first time in Church
History that a host is used for a purpose like this. It's not a
bandage. And think about it -- what are they going to do with
it later? What if it gets stuck to her forehead? Is she going to
eat it? If so, who takes it off, a priest? -or a nurse? Are they
going to soak it off with a damp cloth? What about particles
that stick to the cloth?
Yes, it's a sacrilege, unless it's not a host, that is.
But if it's not a host, why are they making it look like it's a host?
You know, the woman looks like she's dreaming of her next
pizza-with-the-works, and a mug of diet Pepsi. Why diet Pepsi?
Well, that's to make her feel better about the pizza calories.
If it feels good, do it?
Remember that Padre Pio, a real stigmatist, always tried to
HIDE the appearance of his wounds. He NEVER had any
photo-opp like this with his hands in plain view, and he had
the stigmata for over 50 years. Skeptics after he died said
the whole thing was a hoax, especially since the stigmata
DISAPPEARED AFTER he died. Not before. And any doctor
can tell you that a dead body never heals wounds that are
present at the time of death.
Well, make that MOST dead bodies, because there has been
at least one docuмented exception.
