  • Are marriages without children good?

     if so why?

Isn't marriage for the procreation of children?

what about if the mother has an inability to carry child?   Can they separate due to sterility?

  • A related question, pre-vatican II did the church allow marriage between a man and a woman who was clearly post-menopause? Like two 65 year olds getting married? It is becoming more and more common in this society. Curious as to how Christendom always handled it.
