  • Hi,

I was just in France and I got the chance to visit the home of St. Theresa and to visit the Basilica.  It is beautiful by the way.  Any way my question is, is the body of St. Theresa that is laid out in another church there the Saint's body or is it a replica of her?  She looks absolutely beautiful.  She looks like she is just sleeping.

    Thanks

  • She is not one of the saints who are incorrupt.  I believe it is a wax figure.

after I posted my question I did a little more research.  You are right . It is a statue of some sort and it is beautiful.

Visiting St. Theresa's home was a wonderful experience for me and quite unexpected.

    Thanks for your response.
    God Bless
