  • Russians complaining about immoral clothing????  This is amazing. What's going on with Russia??

    http://rt.com/politics/russia-children-pageants-ban-782/
St Petersburg legislator Vitaly Milonov has announced his intention to press for the ban on child beauty pageants in the city with a possible later extension to all of Russia.

Milonov has gained popularity (or, in some people’s view, notoriety) in Russia and abroad for sponsoring the original “gαy propaganda ban” – the St. Petersburg city law that introduced administrative fines for promoting non-traditional sex relations and values to minors. The bill was later passed at a Federal level despite protests from Russian LGBT activists and international rights organizations.

Milonov is also known for suggesting prayer as a cure against ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity in press interviews and a plan to resettle homeless people from cities to special settlements in rural areas.

On Friday Milonov told the St. Petersburg news site Fontanka.ru that he was preparing a bill that would allow participation in beauty pageants only from the age of sixteen years. Breaking the rule would be the responsibility to event organizers and to participants’ parents.

The deputy said that child beauty pageants had recently become popular in Russia and the format of these contests caused great concern for the health of participating children, both physical and mental. “They force children to wear immodest dress and swimsuits, to perform on the catwalk like grownup supermodels, they subject children to plastic surgery and impose on them non-childish behavior that resembles that of easily accessible women,” Milonov noted.

"The participation is such contests not only harm the child’s psyche, it also increases the danger of them becoming victims of paedophiles,” he added.

“It is inadmissible that children who have just turned six or seven or ten years of age get paraded before adults in underwear or do pole dancing to please some perverts,” the RIA Novosti news agency quoted Milonov as saying.

Children’s beauty pageants take place in St Petersburg regularly, several times a year. The latest two were the Miss Childhood Planet event in February 2011 and Little St Petersburg Beauty in May 2012.

  • .

    This is good news.

I'd like to see a new method of execution for convicted perverts:

Death by millstone necklace and drowning in the depth of the sea.

That might put the kibosh on this garbage.

If they keep this up pretty soon they're going to DEMAND that the
Pope makes the collegial consecration of Russia to the IHM.......

    ......................OR ELSE!!

  • I've been saying, something POSITIVE is happening in Russia. If I could stand the cold I think I'd defect. Emigrate. Whatever. Beauty pageants are sick imo. God is clearly blessing Russia.

  • Jman, Nikita Khrushchev made a big flap over being taken to a "can can dance" performance by an American delegation. It was also a grave offence for any NKVD/KGB/GRU officer to be morally compromised in any official capacity. Naturally, there were many violations, but OFFICIALLY, the old USSR was as puritanical as the old Bay Colony, in its time.

Even though the current Russian mob produces a huge chunk of the world's pornographic materials, the Russian culture is not nearly as "progressive" as are most of America's "conservatives".

Points to Putin and the pols in Russia taking decisive steps.

    Na zdroveye, Vlad!

If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

Say "Rah! Rah!" to no earthly government where Christ is not King.  North Korea doesn't allow toddler beauty pageants, either, but I don't see anyone rushing to emigrate.
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

  • I would like to know if Putin had a spiritual contact in some way to be so firm on the issues of ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity, porn and immoralities and etc. Does anyone know?  Then the news stated that the "pope" will be visiting Putin, is this so?  Maybe Putin could tell him a thing or two!

  • It seems that after the coming Chastisement & cleansing of the earth that the Slavonic peoples will be to most of the world what the Iberians were to the American Indians or the Celtic & English monks were to the Norsemen & the Germans. I recall reading in the visions of Alois Irlmaier that the Germans will be victorious in the Third World War, & that Catholic Germans will help to finally fully convert the Russians to the True Church & they will thereafter do a great deal of good in the world.

  • My first thought was what a sad thing it says about the state of the world when Russia is on the moral high ground.
    Matthew 6:34
" Be not therefore solicitous for to morrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof."

Any sound thinking culture knows what can devastate it and will take steps to protect istelf from this and any  other degeneracy.

Only here in the "progressive" West do we think we're above the laws of nature.(Natural Law)

We're about to find out soon we're not.

Earlier this year, the Western media went INSANE when Putin said (paraphrasing, but I've got the links somewhere) that the Church (Russian Orthodox, I'm sure) was a big part of Russia's legacy before the fall, and not only should they return to that, but the Church should have a say in the governing of Russian people. He was photographed around various parishes and promised state aide to the parishes (cathedrals? Whatever ROs call them). Ever since, Putin's been photographed with the RO Patriarch (I think) Krillen. Months later, into this year, he announced getting a divorce, but no reasons were given why. Of course, Orthodox allow such things, but Putin seemed to be sticking with the RO pretty hard-core.

According to this recent (Sept) American Thinker article,(anti-Obama pro-West), if you search Google for  images of Putin + Patriarch, you get 360,000 hits including shots of Putin kissing the Patriarch's ring, etc. (American Thinker calls him "Tsar Putin" and thinks he wants to be the leader of the RO Church and start WW3; but most of their Putin article is about slamming Obama.) So it appears he is in pretty frequent contact with the Patriarch.

(I know you know all this; I just love the repeating of it)

Of course, our media wanted Putin lynched for such things, especially after he came down hard on the Sodomites, and bands even promoting a Sodomite lifestyle, and minority religions such as Islam (told them to shut up or get out and THAT'S "Russian tolerance", and they're lucky to get that). News talk shows have since stressed the importance of "separation of Church and state" and how Putin was going to make Russia (**crosses self**) into a theocracy and RETURN TO THEIR CENTURIES OLD FAITH.

       :applause:

Oh, and Putin said the West could KEEP our nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr crap out of Russia; Russians were going to retain their identity and try to reconstruct their heritage and be a holy people. (Well, he may not have said holy; maybe it was "a godly people".)

Not sure Frank will try to visit Putin, because Putin isn't going to hear much of this "ecuмenism" fairy talk from Frank. Putin's already had a field day with Obama —though I think there's a darker power around Frank. According to Frank, anyway. Frank said a dark power descended upon him in the conclave, and he never said this darkness left, either. (But maybe he did and it just wasn't translated properly yet.) So if Frank and his henchman clergy were to visit Putin, I would pray incessantly for Putin's protection from the clown representatives of Rome.

But I don't think Frank will go. Russian Orthodox may be schismatic, but I don't think they'd keen too well to Frank's sissy no-corpus crucifixes with red hearts sprinkled on them, much less that bent ...thing Frank dug out from storage. There would have to be ground rules for Frank, and Frank, a free-wheeling "spirit", doesn't much like rules. Frank would have very bad day :D
