  • Hello,

I am looking for a book recommendation on spiritual warfare....or links with valuable information.

    Thank you!
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

  • Tan has a book titled "the Spiritual Combat" and a Treatise On Peace of Soul, by Dom Lorenzo Scupoli priest of the congregation of the Theatines Copyright 1945 I would also suggest writings of St. Teresa of Avilla. She has a science to spiritual battles.  So, Tan book publishers online.

  • Hi Cantarella

If you are interested in Spiritual Warfare, give this a listen.  Fr Ripperger was I think a Prof at the FSSP seminary and is now (or was) working full time as an exorcist priest. He is a very solid Thomistic priest and a good homilist. He gave a series of talks explaining exorcism, demons, angels, sacramentals, prayer etc. a couple of years ago, it is well worth a listen:

the spiritual warfare series is about 2/3 down the page in about 10 parts.

***Note: He does advertise these downloads as 'penanceware' that is either a $1 donation or pray a Rosary for his intentions per download. Just worth pointing out***

I have listened to many of his talks, they are well worth the dollar or Rosary!

Fr. Ripperger is my go to theologian.  I recommend him to everyone.  He is really doing such a great thing for the Church by making these talks, lectures, and sermons available online.
