I see we are of the same generation except I haven't decided to stop fighting and I think this man has made an important observation about the ability of people who still give a damn to raise consciousness about the filth that we are being inundated with. My glass is still half full, and he's added a little liquid.

Your implication that I have stopped fighting contains a large quotient of truth. I have no intention of denying that. Yet I insist that my objection to the Matt Walsh piece you think well of is utterly unrelated to my retirement from the field. That is to say, I have never in my life seen the merit in using lollipops to distract children (whether they are 4 or 94) from the shot someone in a white coat is giving them.

Walsh's article is not trying to raise consciousness. It is doing quite the opposite: diverting legitimate rage and horror away from their proper objects and channeling them into a holding tank, as it were, from which they can be harmlessly vented as steam. In short, Walsh is either a liar or an unwitting fool or naïf in the pay of liars. The avenues of "American" redress he directs attention to are completely fraudulent. How often must ballot propositions in California and several other states, propositions that are supposedly irreversible by legislatures or executive officials, get blithely tossed out by a single judge or a judicial panel before people awaken to the fact that "government of the people" and "democratic process" have less evidentiary support for their existence than the Tooth Fairy does?

Look again in your glass, Mr. Lee. Better yet, send it out to a lab for analysis. The liquid Walsh has added to it is a sedative, an intoxicant, or a short-term-memory suppressant.

"Well-deserved" doesn't matter. "Blowback" doesn't matter. Macho screams that "you will lose in the end" from guys who think that a weak argument gets magically transformed into a strong one when you make each sentence you write into its own paragraph may make a few readers feel good as they high-five each other—but they don't matter either. The sad but plain truth is that all this nonsensical "you lose" stuff won't turn even a single head in the ongoing Tribal victory parade through the New Universal Nation that was still recognizably the USA when I was drafted and shipped off to Vietnam to fight for Lord-knows-what in 1967.

Look at a few facts. What is this Walsh guy actually saying, aside from "my wife and I won't like you gαy activists any more"? Forget about a plan of action, does he have a diagnosis? Answer: Not even a clue—at least no clue he's willing to confide to his readers.

He did something similar in his pseudo-hip review of Noah, where he promotes the movie while giving the appearance of rapping it. He talks about the movie's makers being "atheists"; yet he adroitly manages to overlook (conceal, maybe?) the fact that everyone involved with making the flick is a rich, prominent, rabidly Christophobic Jєω. Oy, the irrelevance, the irrelevance!

Here's another fact. Brendan Eich, the Mozilla guy, is not Jєωιѕн. How many rich, important guys are there left in American business who aren't part of the Tribe? Answer: several fewer every single day. Do you think that if by some odd chance the Proposition 8 donor turned out to be, say, Larry Ellison of Oracle, he would have been pressured out of his job, too? If your answer is yes, you've forgotten who owns all the newspapers, all the radio stations, and all the TV networks.

Matt Walsh and folks like him are flesh-and-blood versions of those little valves atop pressure cookers. They permit just enough steam to escape so that the Powerless Many (soon to be the Far More Powerless Minority) can go back to their Bud and Baseball and Final Four and Blu-ray discs of Transformers LXXVII with that warm-all-over feeling of having been good Americans. They can also look forward with bright eyes and smiles to an election in a few months, wherein a bunch of Republicans may end up replacing a bunch of Democrats. And what will their great accomplishment be? Why, they will take the hated and immoral and dysfunctionally Communist ObamaCare program and … and … change not a single damn thing about it.

Matt Walsh will cheer and cheer, I bet. And sadly, at least some of his readers will cheer about "well-deserved blowback."

I shall be dead before Matt Walsh is a lot older, but a lot of CI commenters will be living five or six or seven decades into the new Jєωιѕн-run, minority-staffed, and ethnically fragmented USA. The only blowback anyone will be able to look forward to in this transformed country will involve the kind where clubs or tasers come into contact with white Catholics heads and private parts. Think of that as your family gathers around the dear old 96-incher to cheer on the rich guys.

I ran across a conversation on another website (  newsbusters.org  ) that took place 10 days ago.  Apparently when the news went "viral" it was a hot topic for ONE DAY and then Mozilla reacted and demanded Brendan Eich to step down.  I have to wonder what would have happened if they had taken no action at all?  I doubt the media frenzy could have endured for more than a day or two, and if they had handled it right, they could have used the controversy to make their Firefox even more widely recognized, and even MORE popular.  As it is, they're LOSING users, so kow-tow-ing to the Yids and the Sodomites has seemed to have BACKFIRED:

If you conform and refer to ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs as "gαy", you have already lost half the battle. That allows the left to set the agenda and direction of the discussion. They are ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs (and they hate that word! So use it everytime.).

Remember that story in Florida of the two girls having a relationship and one was a minor? The media ignored the fact that the accused was having a relationship with someone who was underage and instead framed her as a victim of the homophobia.

If and when the conflict begins (and I hope and pray that it doesn’t), it won’t be in the form of waves of brothers against brothers. It will probably be in the form of “Armies of One” employing methods similar to those used in Operation Phoenix during the Vietnam war. The targets will be Dem politicians and the Media.

There was a survey done in South America a year or two back where college aged kids were asked if they preferred being called Hispanic or Latino. A majority had never heard of either word and wanted to be known as a citizen of their particular country.

Apparently those are words the left assigned to them here in the US.

Everyone (native) in CR is either a "Tico" or a "Tica" (masculine/feminine). CR is a melting pot....on the Carribean side, you see many more dark skinned (Carribean/African), in the north, Indos (Mayan/Aztec) and on the Pacific, a mish mash, even many of oriental extraction.

The food there, regardless of the area, sucks. It is just very mild and non-descript. The first thing I learned is you can never go wrong w/chicken & rice there. And that is true. But it's culinary tradition isn't much to speak about.

For example, in CR, you can get a "tamale" (which is a delight in Mexico, Tex Mex, and other cuisines)....but in CR it's merely a masa (corn) dumpling...and maybe has some underseasoned something or other in it. *sigh*. Fresh fruit is the best choice there. And hearts of palm & avacado salad.

In a grocery store near where I live, the sign in the grocery aisle that had the Mexican food said 'Hispanic Foods' which I thought was ridiculous seeing how Mexican food/ingredients are distinctly Mexican and not found at all in any other Latin American countries. Ask for a tortilla in South America and you might get something resembling an omelette.

First, what the Sam Hill is "OKCupid" and why do they have so much influence? Second, I don't have to state for anybody here that we are living in scary times. We are living in an America where if you said or did something, five, ten twenty or forty years ago, the current conventional thinking will condemn and crucify you without so much as even a hearing. This isn't the America I grew up in. I don't know what happened but somewhere along the way something turned very sour. Did we do it? As conservatives we've voted for candidates who mostly reflected our world view. It appears they didn't really reflect that worldview. I know this case has nothing to do with voting, but it trickles down. How did these people like OKCupid get their mind set? Somewhere, somehow along the line, somebody has let America down. I don't know who it was, but somebody did. The country that elected an incompetent community organizer president, twice, because of the color of his skin and not the content of his character is capable of anything. I've always said infringement leading to loss of our rights wont come from government, but from private groups like OKCupid and the ACLU, using Bill Clinton's tried and proven technique, the politics of personal destruction. And there is no appeal from this court of emotions.

Liberals don't believe there is a fundamental right to keep and bear arms, but DO believe there is a fundamental right of a woman to vacuum her baby's brain out and call it "reproductive freedom," for a lazy stoner to get high in public and call it "recreation," and for a man to insert his raging member into another man's rear end and call it "consummating a marriage."

And now...it's their militant angry Gestapo to deny a citizen free speech, freedom of association, confidence in the voting process and our right to privacy in our homes and business. And safety in a career or jobs that we'll be able to keep them is being lost while we look on.

Safari is an Apple product. I've used it for years and it's very customizable and quick. And it works well with PC's...so it's not an exclusive Mac product. And unlike IE Explorer... is doesn't hijack your operating system so Safari can be deleted or uninstalled, unlike IE.

That would be---Eich himself, as he was one of the co-founders. The actual impetus for the resignation was a threatened mass resignation of employees on the technical side---without whom Mozilla could not function. Many of the employees did not want to work for Eich, and it became a case of he goes or they go.

We can always depend on tantrums, threats, name calling, insults and the like. Anything but facts common sense or a real debate.

All the more reason I never ever watch Good Morning America. Ms. Janis is apparently a bigoted pro-abortion, anti traditional marriage moonbat. Same for other on air personalities at GMA. She is appears to be a ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ, or at least an open supporter of LGBTQIA who is comfortable with lying on air. I never heard of Brandon Eich until this week, but I know of the radical, hating, bigoted ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs who dominate the news. It can only be because the legacy media, including ABC News, is primarily run by other radical ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs. Needless to say, comparing a contributions to California Prop. 8 is nothing like the actions of Fred Phelps and his band of protestors. I would observe that Linzie Janis more closely resembles with Fred Phelps than does Brendan Eich.

A cινιℓ ωαr is brewing, I think. We will only endure tyrants like these leftists trampling our freedoms and robbing us of our jobs, and our liberty for so long. The coming elections are shaping up to be a war between those who work for a living, and those who vote for a living.

During the Bush years, every time any liberal was ever criticized in any way for saying they didn't like Republican X, or conservative issue Y, the liberal media would plaster the airwaves with headlines and broadcasts that almost all seemed to use this headline:
"A CHILL WIND BLOWS AGAINST FREE SPEECH IN AMERICA TODAY". The object of course was to paint a picture of republican/conservative repression and fascism.

They will never recognize their own hypocrisy and corruption. Where are their stories now about "A chill wind" blowing against free speech? Huh? HUH??

If you are using Firefox as your browser, as I was, delete it and go to CHROME or IE. Do not support in any way people who think they have a right to rob a person of their livelihood because they think differently or hold different values than they do.. Mozilla is being run by intolerant, hateful thugs. Do not be a party to their thuggery by using their browser..

In 2008, Obama did not have to adhere to the COTUS. Yes Obama has not adhered to it in everything, but what argument could Obama have presented to have the federal DOMA upheld? (The strikedown should have been 9-0 instead of 5-4.)

Are you freakin kidding me? The Judicial branch is supposed to uphold the legislative branch, and the constitution, not re-write it. Further more, it's not up the Fed, it's a States Rights issue, and I dont mean some leftist, wacko, nutcase, gαy, Judge either.

The judicial branch is supposed to uphold the Constitution first---and everything else second. The COTUS never authorized a federal DOMA. In what way was it re-written? Did someone hijack your account?

So you believe the Judicial is supposed to write legislation, and re-write the meaning of words?

                    Did someone hijacked your brain?

                        Abortion: correct.
                        Slavery: authorized until 13A.
Separation of church and state: Never ruled on despite what half of America thinks.

The judiciary is supposed to rule based on the COTUS only even if it means overturning popular laws.

The Judicial has made rulings on all sorts of things, that they had no business in. Including the items I mentioned.

Fact is, when the leftist cant sway the Voters, or Legislatures, they go Judiciary shopping till they find a sympathetic ear.

There is a process for achieving gαy marriage or repealing the DOMA, problem is, leftist have no use for it, or the Constitution.

gαy marriage and DOMA are not the same. If Congress had no authority to pass the law in the first place...the law must be killed by the courts.

A 5-4 decision in the SCOTUS and the judiciary overturning the wishes of the voters in multiple cases....yeah, now that's what I call the spirit of the Constitution...NOT. ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ "marriage" will be the same contentious issue as abortion has been. When the courts go against the will of the people, all they do is create chaos.

[Uhh... correction:  the will of the people is irrelevant compared to the will of God.  So long as God's will is ignored, there will eventually be chaos.

If their reply is, "How can anyone know the will of God?" The answer is, "That is what the Church is for."  If they say, "Which 'church' are you talking about? -- there are so many!"  -the answer is, "There is only one true Church, outside of which there is no salvation."  If they counter, "But all the churches make that claim!  How can you know which one is true?"  -the answer is, only the Roman Catholic Church can PROVE this claim by historical evidence and the revelation of God.  &c.  It's going to take the Collegial Consecration of Russia to the IHM before God will put this nonsense to rest, and then again, the miraculous intervention of God through Our Lady, will show how invincible the one true religion is, and not before then.]

Good grief, did I say they were the same? How come we are always a Democracy, until you leftist find you cant get your way?

If the same body can pass a law authorizing the theft of personal property and labors, then I have no idea how you think they cant tell you the definition of what marriage is, or navigable waters, or what contracts you can enter in, what you kids should be taught, or what health care you dont get?

Whats the point of the Constitution, if 9 unaccountable humans get to make up law?

This has to be one of the most well written posts I have come across in quite awhile. It deserves publication to a wider audience.

I have noticed the blowing off of steam phenomena for quite some time. It became apparent to me early on in the days of conservative talk radio. But never did I put it quite so eloquently. Nor could I do so today.

I have also bought into the idea that the ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ movement is the latest battering ram for the Jєωs. But for some reason, I had never connected it to its usefulness in the actual replacement of non Jєωs in high places. This is brilliant analysis and the idea inherent is very important for all of us to grasp.

Until reading this post by Claudel, I had relegated this Jєωιѕн battering ram to simply changing the moral climate and further breaking down the family and the culture. Of course it does that as well. But looking at this in this context is truly frightening.
