    They will pay $400 for a Starbucks card, but wouldn't dream of buying a $400 Grocery Market Gift Card and giving it anonymously to a large family or a poor family or a senior citizen on a fixed income.

    Not too much money, just too self-centered.

    • The auction is entertainment for some too.

     I think double the value plus is excessive, but most of us pay for entertainment at times.
