When I opened this link there was nothing about a beatification.
So what was it you watched, Stubborn?

He was certain blessed to be a true priest and to have died before V2.

I do not know Nadir. I turned the beatification on EWTN and saw a line of people side by side like in a procession of sorts, and one of them was carrying what looked like a small woven laundry basket with a handle with boxes of cereal in the basket. I watched for about another 20 seconds and turned it off.

Alas the "beatification" is done according to the Conciliar church guidelines, not the One True Roman Catholic church. So,Padre Pio , for example, may indeed have been saintly, but until Catholicism returns to Rome. we officially can do naught but hope.

JPII a saint? - Meknows not such an abomination.

Yes, it is tragic that the good get lumped in with the bad.
