Hooraaay for when Judaics convert to the One Holy Apostolic Church! :rahrah:
With all due respect, what is the difference? A Catholic is a Catholic. We all were once heathens wallowing in original sin, before we were baptized.
It is wrong to even consider the people of the Old Testament Jєωs as it does great damage in confusing ѕуηαgσgυє Judaism as we now think we understand it, with the Apostles and St. Joseph and the Blessed Virgin Mary. They were Hebrews, Israelites, Gallileans and Judeans, etc. These Jєωs today have absolutely nothing to do with the Church of Promise that became the Church.
For some reason we are being trained to think this is some big thing and that these people ought to be worshipped for their prior identity. An identity, I might add, that never seems to go away. Just look at the Hebrew Catholic movement for further understanding. Or the original post.
Looks like we have another Jayne among us.
Prove me wrong, OP. But remember, I did not bring up the subject. The OP did. She made a statement right off the bat with an accusatory tone asking if we have a problem with trusting Jєωs. Do we not have the right to then ask whether such a person should be trusted?
It is up to everyone else in how they want to handle or ignore such a post. I choose not to let some Judaic get me to heel right off the bat. I suppose it is too much to ask that someone actually tries out the forum and sees whether they get a lot of satisfaction with time spent here, a little, none, or whether they are horrified.
How many of you started your posting career here by asking everyone for a show of hands to receive instant approval or attention? Not many I would suspect.
