I applaud you for converting.  Are you attending the Latin Mass or the novus ordo?

For most of the 16 years I went to the NO.  I am recently discovering Traditional Catholicism and the Latin Mass.  We just got permission from our bishop to have a weekly Latin Mass in our state (which isn't the most convenient of locations for me).

Having said that, I still question validity/licitness of this weekly Latin Mass due to questions I have about the VII priestly ordinations (more specifically the bishop consecrations).  The priest is a VII priest and although I find him to be one of the best priests in the area (if not the best), I can sometimes recognize his VII beliefs in the way he talks in his homilies.

So that means I'm terribly depressed as I feel I have no real home.  I no longer go to mass with my husband (he has decided not to attend any of these masses).  Although I went to mass for years alone as a single person (and had no issue with it) I never imagined myself going alone again after getting married (at least not indefinitely). I feel as if the rug has been taken out from under me.  What I was so sure about I am no longer and I believe I am having a crisis of Faith.

Keeping the Faith, can often mean ploughing a lonely furrow, unfortunately.

Good to know that you converted to the Catholic Faith. Even on a Traditional Catholic Forum you get all kinds of people. So don't worry too much about it!

And maybe a beer and porkchops, eh??
