I let my mother get me into this simply because I haven't gone on a vacation anywhere in years. Maybe I'd be happy about this if my soul weren't in danger. I'm going to be deprived of Holy Communion for 3 whole weeks. Oh my  :cry:

Are you sure there isn't a Latin Mass anywhere near you while you're there? I could try to find one for you, if you haven't already looked.

You have no obligation to go to the Novus Ordo.

Period.

Read your missal, and "keep the sabbath holy." That's what you do. And "keeping the sabbath holy" does not include attending a "service" that's going to put you in the occasion of sin. That's what the Novus Ordo does to me. It doesn't feed my soul like the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass does.

It's a protestant service. Don't go. Read your missal, and say some extra prayers.  They'll profit you more than any Novus Ordo will.

I am worried.. worried indeed.

If your parents force you to go, don't complain. View it as enduring a dry martyrdom for the Faith, and do not participate. Just sit in the pew, and say a Rosary for your parents' conversion.
