    gαy clergyman should be "laicized" i.e., removed.  Then, preferrably, turned over to the authorities to account for their buggery.

    I agree parentsfortruth, forgiveness is one thing, but, to forget is another. I am often held to account during confession if I repeat a sin, or if I seem to have a habitual sin. Sodomy is more than a habitual sin. It deserves the same fate as Sodom.

    • I disagree with Pope Francis. A ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ, even if not practicing the act,
    cannot be imbued thoroughly with the Holy Ghost, otherwise he would not
    be a "ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ". Period. The media is misconstruing the Pope's words,
    but the fact is that the Pope's words are not holy, in my understanding of holy and
    the origin of the priesthood and discipleship of Jesus Christ, and all that entails.  
    I am very uncomfortable with being a so-called "Catholic" today.
    So much so that I may be saying goodbye to this Church, and quite frankly
    I am worried about St. Malachy prophecy.. I feel very uncomfortable.

    If he had said, "They should be forgiven after repentance and their sins forgotten, like any other Catholic repenting sincerely of any other sin and being absolved after confession", that would be one thing.  But he didn't.

    • Apparently using the word sodomite to properly identify sodomites, is name calling and uncharitable over at CAF. I will be banned if I "name call" again. I guess instruct the ignorant, a corporal work of mercy, is also an "infraction and uncharitable."
