There is an article on a Seattle news website owned by HEARST newspapers that had an article about the Vatican verifying a new miracle by Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha. At the end of the article, readers were allowed to leave comments. Well, an ex-Catholic stated he didn't believe that Jesus was a historical figure. So I commented back with this response,
" Even the Jєωs who rejected Christ admit to the reality of Jesus as being real. He is mentioned in their anchient writings that were written during the time and right after Christ's death. The Jєωs of today do not even deny the historical reality of Jesus (they just claim that He is a sorcerer)."
After posting the comment, I made sure to check that it had been posted. And it was. Today, I ended up receiving a note on my Facebook (since comments are done via Facebook or Twitter accounts) that the ex-Catholic had commented to my comment. When I went to the news website, however, my comment and his response comment had been deleted. Unless there is something wrong with my computer that it won't allow me to view all comments posted, it seems that the moderators of the news site don't want to admit that the Jєωs believe in the reality of Jesus. What other explanation can there be since what I wrote in no way attacked the Jєωs - it just said that even those who rejected Christ believe that He existed and this reality is present in their own anchient writings.
