Is this for real? Is this well known? Or is this just a crackpot video?

  • We searched through the house and found 12! We have said hundreds of rosaries with those. We are throwing them away in the garbage. Has anyone else found any?

The video itself  isn't very good.  There are several misspellings and a grammatical error.  I think the "hidden pentagon" is probably a stretch.  However....it IS true that Rosaries are found in abundance in botanica and santeria stores, and in the windows of psychics.  Various colored plastic rosaries ARE gang symbols and perverted rosaries such as the one shown are worn by heavy metal and death metal bands and their fans.  Rosaries, like other sacred objects are stolen and deliberately desecrated and offered to Satan as part of Santanic worship.  This is like the use of Consecrated Hosts in Satanic masses.  The fact that Satan apes the Rosary is testament to its being authentically of God.  (I've never once heard of the enemies of God using or imitating Protestant  trinkets!)

I would advise Catholics to stay away from cheap, plastic Rosaries like those shown, and to definitely have all Rosaries properly blessed by a Traditional priest.  It little matters where a Rosary is made.  Italian Rosaries are not holier than a Rosary made in China.  It IS worth having a close look at ANY sacramental before purchasing it.  I've seen Rosaries that, while not having a snake at Christ's head, were just modernists looking or ugly.  If anyone is too poor to afford a proper Rosary, I'm sure there are Catholics willing to make a gift of an extra.  I include myself in this.  A perfectly good Rosary can be had for $8.00-$15.00, or you can make one!

CatholicinFL, I'm no priest, but may I suggest you destroy the evil rosaries, preferably by burning them or dissolving them in acid?  If you put them in the trash, someone else may find them and use them unwittingly as you did.  If you know where they came from, warn your friends and perhaps take other action.  Ask your priest first.  As for the hundreds of prayers, if you didn't know, then I wouldn't worry.  There is no sin where there is neither knowledge nor intent.  Definitely ask your priest about this, as well.  I'm curious as to what he'll answer.

  • Thank you for posting this.  Was anyone else struck by the fact that they have a version of these diabolical rosaries that they called "Luminous Rosaries"?

I also found deplorable the "Be it unto me according to my words" part, a Satanic mockery of Our Lady's "Be it done unto me according to Thy word."

  • Perhaps we should place less emphasis on the physical object, and more on the prayer itself.

Obviously, but that doesn't mean the physical object itself is insignificant.  You don't want to be holding an object with Satanic symbolism on it while you pray, and there's a reason that the Church blesses objects as sacramentals.  Conversely, objects can also have curses on them, in a sense, drawing diabolical activity.

  • Of course, it is the prayer that counts with God, not the actual Rosary.  But why would anyone knowingly use an object associated with Satan to pray to the Mother of God who will crush his head?  It is true that the holiest Rosary can be prayed upon the cheapest beads or no beads at all, and a Rosary prayed without merit on beads made of diamonds and gold.

  • I understand that someone gave an elaborate Rosary as a gift to St. Bernadette and that Our Lady told the Saint to continue using only the poor little Rosary which was her own, originally.

  • When you are praying to the Holy Virgin through the rosary you are not using anything related to the devil. In fact if there could concievably have been something originally related to the devil, praying the rosary is a kind of excorcism that forces the evil spirits to flee and will change the meaning of the item into a source for good.

  • I can recall some years ago that the same sort of thing was happening with miraculous medals......The devil certainly tries his best. It's never a bad idea to go through our "things" and examine them a bit closer. Things get in. My mother in law, went on a trip that brought her to Turkey about 2 years ago. She "gifted" my wife and I with a keychain that had a Turkish 'luck charm' on it. Something as simple as that can cause problems...Now, my mother in law, a protestant still (Please pray for her conversion), thought it was something neat to give us. No ill intention. But the devil had every intention of getting that evil thing into our home.

Anyways, it's at the bottom of Lake Erie.....so ....don't fish there....:)

  • .

If you have a rosary that you like and find out that it has some
mark on it that's sinister, you can grind it off, or cut it off or use a
fingernail file to scrape it off.  But the priest blessing your rosary
    is what makes it okay.

Just as when we say our blessing before meals:  the purpose is to
remove the food from the dominion of the devil.  It's not "giving
thanks before meals."  We give thanks AFTER meals.  The prayer
before meals is to EXORCISE the food before we eat it!  One of
the problems with false ecuмenism is that Catholics are starting
to act like protestants little by little, and one day they'll wake up
to find they have become protestant!

If you can't afford to buy a good rosary, you can get free ones at
most traditional Catholic chapels.  They've got nice, oval plastic
beads strung on very durable nylon cord, with a solid plastic
centerpiece and traditional crucifix.  You can even volunteer to
make them and help others out that way.

I know men who ONLY use those rosaries because they are
practically indestructible.  And the fact that they're free is a bonus.

The gang and subculture necklace thing comes from the practice
of prison ministry people giving rosaries to the inmates.  They wore
them as necklaces, then, and the rosary-necklace started to become
a kind of status symbol in the prisons!  So when certain prisoners
were released, they continued to wear rosaries on the 'outside',
and then when they got back into their drug market and stuff,
they looked for fancier materials for rosaries.  There are websites
that have rosaries made of gold and silver and precious stones.
You can spend tens of thousands of dollars on a "rosary necklace"
that doesn't even have 5 decades on it, but 4, because it "looks
better" that way.  Many of those are not used for prayer but for
a fashion accessory.  They might never get blessed.

  • I've heard about this New Age rosaries.
Also, beware of "goddess rosaries", though there isn't ever a slight chance of stumbling into them.
